Abstract: A method of removing a false nail from a person's natural fingernail including the steps of pushing the cuticle away from the base of the false nail to expose the base of the false nail; placing a taut string to engage the base of the false nail to be removed; applying pressure to the base of the false nail using the taut string to break part of the adhesive bond between the false nail and the person's natural fingernail; and manipulating the taut string between the false nail and the natural fingernail by moving the taut string from the base of the false nail toward the tip of the false nail in order to continue to break the adhesive bond between the false nail and the natural fingernail in order to remove the false nail.
Abstract: A sleep prevention device while driving a vehicle including a housing member having an interior compartment; and the interior compartment includes a movable cord member with a distal end and a proximal end having a first contact member on the cord member. The interior compartment also includes two spaced-apart second contact members for engagement by the first contact member. The sleep prevention device further includes an earpiece assembly having an earpiece housing member with an alarm member therein connected to a speaker member in the earpiece housing. The distal end of the movable cord member is connected to the earpiece assembly.
Abstract: A sanitary ear clip display member for trying on a pierced-type earring being substantially U-shaped in configuration and having a pin receiving member attached at one end to a movable clip member and the pin receiving member attached at the other end to a second clip member. The ear clip display member also includes a pivot pin and spring member attached to the one end of the pin receiving member; and to one end of the movable clip member. The movable clip member is movable in a spring biased manner from an opened position to a closed position; and the pin receiving member has a pin receiving passageway for receiving a pin of the pierced-type earring therethrough for displaying the pierced-type earring. The clip members and the pin receiving member form the U-shaped configuration for forming a channel therebetween in order to receive an ear lobe therein allowing the user to try on the pierced-type earrings in a sanitary manner.
Abstract: A method of making a mask slipper, comprising the steps of forming a mask from a material selected from the group consisting of plastic, latex and fabric; forming a composite sole member having a first layer of inner filler material; forming a composite upper member having a second layer of inner filler material, an outer surface for receiving the mask, and an inner surface for receiving an inner lining. The method of making the mask slipper further composes the steps of attaching said mask to said outer surface of the composite upper member; attaching the inner lining to the inner surface of the composite upper member; attaching the composite sole member to the composite upper member to form the mask slipper; and turning of the mask slipper such that a correct outer side is on the outside of the formed mask slipper.
Abstract: A heads-up display (HUD) adaptor for use in combination with an existing heads-up display (HUD) unit, wherein the HUD adaptor receives an electronic peripheral device in order to display electronic data and information from the peripheral on the screen of the existing HUD unit on a vehicle's windshield. The HUD adaptor includes a proximal end, a distal end and a cable therebetween; wherein the proximal end has a first adaptor plug; and the distal end has a second adaptor plug. The existing HUD unit includes a heads-up display screen on a front windshield of the vehicle and a heads-up display control unit is positioned within a control panel on a steering wheel of the vehicle for controlling each of the electronic peripherals. The HUD unit includes a USB panel member having a plurality of USB receiving ports for receiving one or more of the HUD adaptors therein.
Abstract: A livestock watering tank being used for receiving water for feeding livestock, the tank includes first and second sidewalls, a top, an upper rim wall and a bottom, the tank being formed of molded plastic to prevent corrosion. The tank includes a float valve for controlling the supply of water from the tank to the drinking tray. The tank is shaped so as to be nestable with another tank and includes a first pair of nesting members formed on the first sidewall of the tank, and a second pair of nesting members formed on the second sidewall of the tank, and the first and second pairs of nesting members each having nesting surfaces on their lower edges for engaging and resting on the upper rim wall of another tank in order to allow the tank to nest within another tank and to space the tops of the tanks apart a predetermined amount.
Abstract: A mast extender for extending a mast of a sailboat to a greater height. The mast extender includes a hollow tubular member having a distal end and a proximal end and being substantially elliptically-shaped. The distal end of the hollow tubular member includes a sealed end. The hollow tubular member includes the sealed end, a first curved side wall, a second curved side wall, curved end walls, and an interior wall surface for forming an interior mast compartment. The proximal end of the hollow tubular member includes a mast receiving opening having a watertight gasket fixedly attached to the interior wall surface and the watertight gasket is adjacent to the mast receiving opening. The first and second curved side walls include aligned fastening bolt openings. The mast extender further includes a fastening bolt extending through the fastening bolt openings and a hex nut for fastening the fastening bolt thereon.
