Abstract: A non-brush D.C. motor with a new improved stator comprises a stator abse whose two side discs have notches and feet so that the polar plates can engage with. By expanding the thinner lips of metal cylinder, the upper and lower polar plates can be fixed firmly with stator base. The central shaft post of housing base can pass through the inner perimeter of metal cylinder.
Abstract: A noncontact type tonometer projects a fluid toward an eye-to-be-tested and obtains a measured value of eye pressure from a relation between transfigurations of the eye due to the fluid projection and the pressure projecting of the fluid. A detecting circuit senses a pulse wave of the person-to-be-tested and a calculating circuit determines at least one of the maximum eye pressure value, minimum eye pressure value and average pressure value of the eye dependent on the maximum fluctuation width of the detected pulse wave, a fluctuating quantity of the detected pulse wave, and the measured eye pressure value. The calculation circuit determines the pulse wave fluctuating quantity at the time point when the eye pressure is measured. The pulse wave of the person may be measured at a position remote from the eye. The tonometer may also include a display for displaying the pulse wave and a display controller for displaying the time point when the eye pressure is measured.
Abstract: A barcode printer is provided constructed out of rectangular, extruded aluminum stock. The mechanical components are mounted directly to the stock frame of a main housing section which eliminates the need for a separate internal mechanism housing and an external cosmetic housing. The motor is mounted approximately in the center of the unit and along with a plastic enclosure assembly, acts as a spindle for a roll of printing media. This orientation of the motor maximizes its utility and contributes to the compactness of the unit. A full roll of printing media is loaded into the unit by removing a cap which covers the side of the roll of paper and provides see-through availability for determining the amount of stock remaining. The printhead is lifted off the platen (drive) roller and the paper will then slide on and off the spindle. The printhead lifting mechanism includes a printhead dial rotatably mounted on the frame and secured with a retaining ring.
Abstract: A nut cracker is designed to accommodate virtually any size nut and provide the same degree of cracking stroke with the same mechanical advantage irrespective of nut size, with only a simple thumb-screw adjustment of a cam.
Abstract: A vented cold tank is provided and partially filled with a eutectic solution. CO.sub.2 snow forming structure is provided within the interior of the tank above the level of eutectic solution therein and liquid CO.sub.2 injection structure is provided in an lower portion of tank below the level of eutectic solution and arranged to create circulation of the eutectic solution within the tank including generally opposite upper and lower horizontal components of movement and generally opposite vertical components of movement of the solution within the tank. The CO.sub.2 injection structure also is operative to educt a portion of the circulating solution from a lower portion of the interior of the tank adjacent the bottom thereof, mix CO.sub.2 snow with the educted portion of solution, and downwardly direct the mixed CO.sub.
Abstract: Disclosed are dynamic dampers for suppressing harmful vibrations excited in a rotary shaft which enable to complete the installation thereof around the rotary shaft by only fixing one end thereof on the rotary shaft without imparing the performances thereof. One of the dynamic dampers are provided with elastic members disposed at both ends thereof, only one of the elastic members has an engaging groove going round the outer surface thereof, and the inner diameter of one of the elastic members is made larger than that of the other elastic member.
Abstract: Conductive metal powders having high conductivity with minimized silver migration are characterized in that an average composition is represented by Ag.sub.x M.sub.1-x (wherein M is at least one metal selected from Ni, Co, Cu and Fe; 0.01.ltoreq.x.ltoreq.0.4) and has a region wherein a silver concentration progressively increases on moving from the inner part toward the surface. The conductive metal powders, which are useful as leads, electrodes and shielding from electromagnetic interference are prepared by solidifying rapidly a molten metal having the specific composition.
Abstract: In an internal combustion engine with a supercharger, a timing or timings for varying characteristics of kinetic supercharging effects of intake air are synchronized with a timing or timings for varying supercharging pressures by the supercharger. Reduction in engine torque at the time when the supercharging pressure is shifted, can be compensated for by enhancement in the engine torque generated at the time when the characteristics of the kinetic effect are varied.
Abstract: A one-way damper comprising a cylindrical outer frame 10 with one end closed within which is provided a cylindrical inner frame 20 in a state rotatable relative thereto, packing material G packed between said inner and outer frames, and when a relative rotation being caused between said both inner and outer frames the rotation of said frame of one side may be capable of giving resistance to the rotation of said frame of other side, and inside of said inner frame 20 being provided with a mechanism which may perform meshing and removal according to a direction of rotation of a rotary shaft 50 for effecting transmission and non-transmission of torque from said rotary shaft 50 to said inner frame 20.
Abstract: The telecommunications transmission security arrangement comprises first and second transmission paths, each having first and second serially connected circuit means. The first circuit means of said first path is arranged to be connectable to the second circuit means of said second path. The first circuit means of the second path is arranged to be connectable to the second circuit means of the first path, and the second circuit means of each path are arranged to monitor alarm conditions of the transmission paths and set up a transmission path by way of the first circuit means of the first path and the second circuit means of the second path when the first path is determined not suitable for transmission. A transmission path is set up by way of the first circuit means of the second path and the second circuit means of the first path when the second path is determined not suitable for transmission.
Abstract: A bimetallic saw blade or band saw includes a support strip (1) and a tool steel top layer (2) of high speed tool steel and sawteeth (6) in at least the top layer. The support strip is martensitically hardenable maraging steel having a maximum carbon concentration of 0.05 wt. % and a content of alloying elements of at least 10 wt. %.

Abstract: A GMSK radio receiver for operation in the presence of strong multipath interference, comprising a baseband frequency converter which operates so as to produce I and Q baseband GMSK signals, which will be distorted by any multipath interference present, which are correlated with a plurality of different possible signals to afford in respect of each correlation a probability signal, the probability signals being processed to determine the significance of the signal received, whereby the transmitted data is determined in the presence of multipath interference.
Abstract: A read head mounting structure for a magnetic card reader, comprising a read head secured to a read head mounting frame by a plane spring which is secured to the read head mounting frame by two pin rods at two opposite ends. Two rows of bolt holes are made on a base at two opposite sides so that the read head mounting frame can be adjustably attached to the base at different level position permitting the read head to partly protrude through a window into a magnetic card feed slot for reading the assigned magnetic track of the magnetic cards.

A pressing plate is disposed on the slot formed at the other end on the notch. The urging plate is in contact with the adhesive tape such that the rotation of hte adhesive tape roll mounted onto a roller will pull it the tape and cut out at a desired length.
Abstract: A housing of a vacuum switch has in an upper connecting region a passage, through which the connecting element is led. The latter engages with its end region in a recess, opposite the passage, in the housing. In the region of the passage, the connecting element is supported on a support tongue and clamped tight by a wedge-shaped retaining member. The vacuum switch chamber is bolted on to the connecting element. The connecting element can also be secured to the housing at the support point opposite the passage.
