Abstract: The invention relates to control scales whereon the weight of products (14) is determined in a dynamic manner during the transport thereof on a weighing strip (4) by means of filtering weight values detected during said transportation. According to the invention, said scales comprise an optimisation device which automatically determines the optimum length of filtering.
Abstract: A motor vehicle includes a roof having at least one part which can be moved as a whole between an opened position and a closed position and which, in the closed position, extends between an area near a wind shield frame and a rear rigid roof part. The rear rigid roof part includes two lateral tips which, when the roof is closed, are overlapped on their upper side by frame parts which can be moved upward to create an opening for the passage of the movable roof part. The roof has a rear window which is mounted relatively far towards the front so that the rear window is not window is not moved upwardly when the frame parts are moved upwardly.
Abstract: Wireless headphones operated by a storage battery and having a connector socket for the insertion of a charge plug of an electric connection into a power pack. The headphones further have at least one miniature loudspeaker, audio electronics, a reception part, and charging electronics to monitor the charging process of the storage battery. In order to be able to use the headphones even with a dead storage battery, a socket is provided for the insertion of a signal plug of an electrical connection with an audio device for the transmission of signals. The audio electronics conduct only the signals received via the signal plug to the loudspeakers when the signal plug is inserted.
Abstract: A method for coiling thin metal strip, especially hot-rolled or cold-rolled thin steel strip, on a coiler mandrel which is adjusted in diameter. At the beginning, the inner windings of the coil are coiled on the adjusted coiler mandrel diameter and, after the final winding of the coil, the coiler mandrel is pulled out or the coil is taken off. At least the first inner winding is joined over a large area with the second inner winding by introducing adhesives, fillers, pieces of metal, bonding agents, or the like into an angular space between the inner windings.

Abstract: In a pipe connection, a first pipe has a first flange of sheet metal provided with a first wall connected circumferentially to the first pipe. A second pipe has an end section shaped as a second flange. A clamp engages across the first and second flanges and has conical sidewalls forcing the first and second flanges axially against one another when tightening the clamp. The first flange delimits together with the first pipe an annular chamber that is coaxial to the longitudinal pipe axis. The first flange has a second wall that is glidingly supported on a free end of the first pipe. A sheet metal sealing ring is positioned between the first and second flanges. It has an edge section that is bent back onto a remaining sealing ring section that has a corrugation projecting past the bent edge section in an untightened state of the clamp.
Abstract: The invention relates to a latch which must enable the locked mobile part (10) of a motor vehicle body to be released if necessary by means of a key-actuated closing cylinder (40), in order to manually open the mobile part (10). A handle (21) is provided on the mobile part (10) for the opening of the same (10), said handle being able to pivot in a vertical plane in relation to the vehicle body. When the handle is in its closed position (20.1), it is essentially flush with the vehicle body. In the outwardly pivoted open position, the handle can be gripped by a hand, also enabling the closing cylinder (40) to be accessed by the key. In order to provide the latch with a compact design, the handle (21) is embodied as a carrier for the closing cylinder (40) and forms a pivotable arrangement (20) therewith. A rotary coupling member (45) which can be actuated by the closing cylinder (40) is located on said arrangement (20) and participates in the pivoting movement.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the optimization of shift strategies, as a function of the strip width, for best possible usage of the advantages of CVC/CVCPlus technology in operation of strip-edge oriented shifts in 4-/6-roller stands, comprising a pair of working rollers and a pair of support rollers for a 4-roller stand and, in addition, a pair of intermediate rollers for a 6-roller stand, whereby at least the working rollers and the intermediate rollers cooperate with devices for axial shifting, characterized in that selection of the shift position (VP), for the shifting working/intermediate rollers, is made as a function of strip width. The working/intermediate rollers are then positioned in various positions (P), relative to the strip edge and, within differing strip width ranges (B), the shift position (VP) of each roller is given by an incremental linear progressive function.
Abstract: The invention relates to a rolling mill (1) comprising several rolling frames (Fi) and support plates (7) that are provided on the operator side (BS) of the frames (Fi) and can be displaced transversally to the roll axes, said plates being equipped to receive sets of working rolls (14) and lying adjacent to the mill floor (9).
