  • Patent number: 7056027
Abstract: A bearing for rotatably supporting a cylindrical shaft within a frame cylindrical support surface in which the shaft is subject to thermal expansion, the bearing being formed of a tubular member having opposed ends and having an axial passageway therethrough, the outer surface of the bearing member having an external circumferential rib adjacent each of the ends, each rib having an external diameter that permits the bearing member to be slideably positionable in the frame internal cylindrical support surface, the axial passageway being defined by a central bearing surface of internal diameter to rotatably receiving the shaft, the bearing surface having an axial length less than the spacing between said ribs, the bearing being deformable within elastic limits permitting the internal diameter of the bearing surface to expand to accept thermal expansion of the shaft.

  • Patent number: 7052080
Abstract: A frame for supporting a back pack and providing a seat structure is formed of a rigid assembly having side portions with four downwardly extending tubular leg members and includes spaced apart, paralleled, lateral members extending between the side portions. A leg extender is telescopically received in each of the four tubular leg members. A pad member having a lower horizontal surface is affixed to a lower end of each of the leg extenders. A locking member at the lower end of each of the tubular leg members provides adjustable spacing of the leg extenders. The frame is configured to receive a flexible back pack between the legs thereof and is adaptable to support a horizontal seat surface when the pad members are resting on the earth's surface.

  • Patent number: 7032841
Abstract: A hand-held battery power sprayer is formed of a body having a spray nozzle, a trigger, and an internally threaded attachment collar having a passageway therethrough. The attachment collar removably receives a container. As battery powered pump is positioned within the body, the pump having an inlet and an outlet, the outlet being connected by a discharge tube to the spray nozzle and the inlet connected by a suction tube extending through the inlet collar passageway into the interior of a liquid-holding container when the container affixed to the attachment collar. A battery is contained within the body. A switch within the body is actuated by this trigger. Circuitry connects the battery, switch, and pump in series. A passive check valve member normally closes the passageway preventing fluid flow from the container into the body and is displaceable to permit air flow into the container.

  • Patent number: 7034222
Abstract: An electrical junction system includes a junction box specially configured to enhance electrical circuitry installation in buildings or other structures. The junction box is attached to a wall stud or other structure and electrical power is routed to the box. Installation of utility modules (such as a receptacle or switch) into the junction box requires no connection of wires. In addition, the depth at which the utility module is secured within the junction box cavity is advantageously adjustable to enable the face of the module to be mounted at a desired location, such as flush with drywall.

  • Patent number: 7014159
Abstract: An x-ray cassette holder and clips capable of holding various types of x-ray cassettes including aluminum cassettes and tunnel cassettes. The clips when used with the tunnel cassettes allow for the changing of the vinyl cassette without releasing the cassette holder. The shaft or upright structure is calibrated to allow for easy positioning of the height of the cassette.

  • Patent number: 7011578
Abstract: A plenum and diffuser for use with an HVAC system for distributing air through an opening in a ceiling, the plenum having a large diameter bottom opening by which air is passed through an opening in the ceiling, and having an air inlet opening. A hanger bar extends through the plenum housing over the large diameter opening. A junction box is secured to the hanger bar for supporting a light fixture or ceiling fan. A diffuser is in the form of a planar, circular structure of thin, rigid material having a circumferential outer edge and a central opening dimensioned to accommodate a junction box. The diffuser has a plurality of radially extending fins and a radially extending air slot opening in conjunction with each fin.
