  • Patent number: 6935641
Abstract: The portable toolbox has a top, bottom, front and rear panels forming a box structure with opposing sides tilted off-vertical so as to converge upwardly. A plurality of hinged drawers and fixed bins are arranged on each side of the toolbox. The rear panel terminates at a pair of supporting feet for resting the apparatus on a supporting surface and a pair of wheels for moving the toolbox. By lifting the toolbox from its forward end, the toolbox moves from resting on its rear legs, to resting on its rear wheels. The top panel provides an upwardly facing work surface with a pair of hand holes separated by a hand grip for carrying the apparatus. A forward and a rearward sliding retractable work surface extender frames are positionable between a retracted position, secured within the box structure and an extended position directed outwardly from the box structure for resting a workpiece.

  • Patent number: 6925748
Abstract: A flexible blanket is made of plural layers including a pair of mutually insulated electrically conductive layers. Electrically conductive stitchings extend between the electrically conductive layers, and a top abrasion resistant layer and are exposed on its exterior surface. A voltage potential is applied between the conductive layers so that the exposed stitches can provide an electric shock to an animal's foot when it is brought into contact with the exposed surface.

The X-shaped aperture comprises two pairs of opposing slots, and each slot provides a pair of opposing grooves. The grooves are oriented at right angles to the slots. The pair of plates are in face to face contact with the X-shaped apertures, grooves and slots aligned. A set of four wheels are mounted on transverse axles which are captured in the grooves with the wheels positioned in the slots. A V-shaped concave annular face has an has a semi-circular annular notch at its apex. • Patent number: 6840730
Abstract: A bale moving apparatus provides a generally horizontal tow frame with a linear support axle supported by a pair of opposing wheels. A tow bar provides a tow strut, a rest bar, and a winch. A bale support is pivotally joined to, and extends upwardly from the support axle assembly, and is rotatable between an upright attitude and a tilted-back attitude for securing a hay bail. A triangle formation of bale impaling spikes in mutually parallel disposition are used for impaling a hay bale at center and on two sides for securing the bail. The bale is pulling into the tilted-back attitude so as to enable resting the hay bale on the bale rest surface during travel. The rest surface is movable so as to enable placement of the hay bale's center of gravity on the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6837833
Abstract: A dumbbell type apparatus comprises a hand gripping surface mounted on an axle and engaging a pair of spaced apart circular wheel-weights rotationally engaged with the axle. The weights provide peripheral outfacing surfaces for rolling the apparatus on a floor surface. Each of the weights has a non-concentrically placed center of mass, whereby with the hand gripping surface held in one hand, the apparatus may be rotated causing the wheel-weights to spin and to thereby exercise the arm holding the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6819228
Abstract: A Braille reading apparatus has a base unit presenting a planar upfacing surface and a traveling Braille character carriage. A cover unit is engaged with the base unit and provides a flexible membrane covering the upfacing surface and the carriage. The character carriage is enabled for moving across the base unit and provides plural character read units in linear sequence between its opposing ends. Each of the read units provides Braille character presentation in contact with an underside of the membrane, whereby, a page of Braille is readable through tactile contact, moving between the opposing ends of the character carriage over an outside surface of the membrane, as the character carriage moves over the base unit scanning from one end to the other.

  • Patent number: 6808328
Abstract: A shiftable keyboard tray comprising a base, a carriage for support of a keyboard movable on the base, and a palm rest movable on the base offset from the carriage and operably connected to the carriage through a coupler configured to enable movement of the carriage in a second direction when the palm rest is moved in an opposite first direction. The coupler comprises a motor mounted in engaging relationship between the carriage and the base and at least one actuation switch coupled to the palm rest and operably connected to the motor. A positioning device is mounted in engaging relationship between the carriage and the base and operably connected to the motor so as to provide data to the motor regarding the position of the carriage. In an alternative embodiment, the positioning device itself serves as the coupler operably connecting the palm rest to the carriage.

  • Patent number: 6802455
Abstract: The present invention provides a simple fluid atomizer having a pair of spring loaded sealing elements such that the pressure required to open both seals is the sum of the spring constants of each of the sealing elements. A central cavity is sealed at both its entry and exit by moving elements held by coil springs. When the fluid in the entry channel is able to overcome a first spring, the first sealing element is moved so as to allow fluid to enter the central cavity. When the fluid pressure within the central cavity reaches a level necessary to compress the exit spring, the entry fluid pressure must be at a level for achieving the delta pressure across both entry and exit springs.

  • Patent number: 6773245
Abstract: An apparatus comprises a hot and a cold fluid reservoirs joined through a conduit and valving system to one or more pair of expandable bladders. A pump is engaged with the conduit system so as to enable the directing of the hot fluid from one of the reservoirs to one or more of the bladders and to enable directing the cold fluid from the other of the reservoirs to one or more of the other of the bladders. The bladders are mutually joined such that with either the hot or the cold bladders filled, both of the bladders are pressed against one or more workpieces, whereby heat is delivered to the workpieces when the one of the bladders, of each pair, is filled, and heat is extracted from the workpieces when the other, of each pair, of the bladders is filled while the other is deflated.
