  • Patent number: 6755000
Abstract: A plaster crown molding tile system has an upright body portion providing a front decorative surface and a rear wall-engaging surface. Integral with the body portion, a topper portion extends angularly upwardly. A first tile provides a laterally extensive linear portion, the rear wall-engaging surface of the linear portion configured for surface-to-surface contact with a generally flat wall. The linear portion terminates at one end with an integral corner-turning portion which is small in lateral proportion to the linear portion. The rear wall-engaging surface of the corner-turning portion is oriented for contact with a second generally flat wall usually set at a right angle to the first wall. The corner-turning portion terminates laterally with a non-mitered first edge, laying in a plane generally perpendicular to the second generally flat wall wherein the first edge abuts a linear tile with a second edge conforming to the first edge for forming a uniformly tight butt seam.

  • Patent number: 6752181
Abstract: A spent transmission fluid is drained from a transmission and replaced with new fluid. The transmission's converter forces the spent fluid into a spent fluid container, while air displaced by the entering spent fluid is forced into a second container holding a new replacement fluid. The second container is thereby pressurized and the new fluid is thus forced through an interconnecting conduit line into the dipstick tube so as to replace the spent fluid flowing out. The spent fluid leaving the transmission causes suction to appear at the dipstick tube which sucks the new fluid into the transmission. To assure that this suction is maintained, the dipstick tube is sealed so that the system is closed.

  • Patent number: 6733226
Abstract: A vehicle moving apparatus comprises a U-shaped, horizontally oriented, rigid frame having a transverse base frame joined at opposing ends thereof with spaced-apart, longitudinally oriented side frames. Frame wheels are engaged with the rigid frame for support and movement over a surface. The base frame and the side frames, together, define a vehicle space for placement of a vehicle wherein the vehicle is supported on its wheels. Each one of the side frames provides a proximal roller arm and a spaced apart distal roller arm. The arms are able to pivotally rotate between a stowed position within one of the side frames and a deployed position normal to one of the side frames. The arms are facilitated for adjustment of spacing between them, thereby enabling contact between the roller arms and the vehicle's wheels for lifting the vehicle onto the roller arms so that the vehicle may be moved to a designated location.

  • Patent number: 6701560
Abstract: A nail-pulling tool has a two-piece proximal handle pivotally joined with a two-piece distal jaw by a pivoting means. The distal jaw is operated like a standard hand tool with compression of the handle causing the jaw to close, and vice-versa. The distal jaw has an elliptical surface so that with the distal jaw resting on a work surface and closed about a nail protruding from the work surface, and with the handle laying adjacent the work surface, raising the handle away from the work surface in an arc, causes the nail to be pulled from the work surface at an ever increasing rate. Axially oriented jaw teeth provide improved gripping and a pair of tongue and groove opposing surfaces enable cutting and further improved gripping. A hammer surface enables driving of a nail into the work surface rather than pulling it out, and a claw element enables pulling a nail head up so as to be better gripped by the tool.
