  • Patent number: 8205831
Abstract: A heliport is formed by the assembly of a planar member including longitudinally-extending deck materials, each of which has a longitudinally-extending T-slot formed in the upper side thereof and is connected to a plurality of deck slats. Each deck slat is of generally I-beam configuration, with the lower flange thereof having a plurality of longitudinally-extending striations. A plurality of fixture blocks is provided, with each fixture block having a hole therein and including a plurality of striations for cooperatively engaging the striations in the lower flange of a deck slat. The head of a carriage bolt is disposed in the T-slot of the longitudinal deck materials, and extends through the fixture block, and is connected at its opposite end to a deck slat by a washer and nut, thereby providing a rigid interconnection between the deck slats and the planar member.

  • Patent number: 8199364
Abstract: When a second detector determines that a character image has a halftone (YES in #1) and a third detector (48) determines that a font size of the character image is equal to or greater than a threshold value ? and equal to or smaller than a threshold value ? (YES in step #4), a fourth detector determines whether a presently focused pixel constitutes a particular portion of a character (step #5). When the fourth detector determines that the pixel data of the presently focused pixel constitutes the particular portion of the character (YES in step #5), the image processing section sets the pixel data to be subjected to a second screen processing which is performed at a higher gradation level (step #6).

  • Patent number: 8199341
Abstract: An image area detecting portion detects an area (image area) in a sheet subjected to printing where characters and images take up. A pattern creating portion creates a copy prevention pattern in such a manner that a latent image is embedded only to a detected image area with respect to a mask pattern into which a dot pattern is incorporated. A print image creating portion superimposes the generated copy prevention pattern and the document image to each other. When the printed object is read in a copying machine having a copy guard function, detection of the dot pattern can be performed without being interfered by a latent image since only a mask pattern is printed in an area corresponding to a reading start position.
