  • Patent number: 8241078
Abstract: A male terminal fitting includes a tab that is connectable with a counterpart female terminal fitting. A tubular body is behind the tab and has an opening for receiving a lance. A barrel is behind the body and is crimped to an end portion of an electric wire. Side walls between the barrel and the tab in the longitudinal direction are hammered in to form a reduced space portion. The reduced space portion has an opening smaller than a thickness and a width of the tab to prevent the tab of another male terminal fitting from intruding through the opening and into the body. Thus, the male terminal fitting prevents the entanglement of male terminal fittings without making the structure of the male terminal fitting complicated.

  • Patent number: 8241076
Abstract: A female terminal fitting (10) has a tubular main portion (11) with first and second opposed resilient pieces (21, 24) formed therein. The second resilient piece (24) has an extending piece (25), a support (26) and a pressing piece (27). The support (26) contacts the inner surface of the main portion (11) and the pressing piece (27) extends from the support (26) to hold the first resilient piece (21) in a pre-loaded state. A tab (60) is inserted between the extending piece (25) and the first resilient piece (21) to incline the pressing piece (27) about the support (26) and to release the pre-loaded state. The extending piece (25) resiliently deforms about the support (26) and toward the tab (60) as the pressing piece (27) is inclined. Thus, the tab (60) is held resiliently between the extending piece (25) and the first resilient piece (21). With this arrangement, the tab (60) may be inserted at low frictional force but at complete insertion is held tightly be increased frictional force.

  • Patent number: 8244155
Abstract: A developer cartridge is provided with a cartridge main body with a supply port for supplying developer to an apparatus main body of an image forming apparatus, a shutter member displaceable between an opening position for opening the supply port and a closing position for closing the supply port, an operation lever arranged to face the opening cover and adapted to displace the shutter member between the opening position and the closing position, and a biasing member for biasing the operation lever toward the closing posture. The operation lever is displaceable between an opening posture corresponding to the opening position and a closing posture corresponding to the closing position. The operation lever is displaced from the closing posture to the opening posture against a biasing force of the biasing member due to interference with a part of the opening cover when the opening cover is closed.

  • Patent number: 8241062
Abstract: A shielding connector has a housing (20) accommodating female terminals (15) connected to electric wires (10). The housing (20) is inserted in a die cast tubular shielding shell (40). An elastic locking piece (34) is provided on the housing (20) and locks an open edge (48) of the shielding shell (40) to prevent removal of the housing (20) that has been mounted properly in the housing (20). A retainer (50) is mounted on the housing (20) from the rear and prevents the elastic locking piece (34) from flexibly displacing in an unlocking direction. An open end (70A) of a braided wire (70) is placed on a mounting groove (46) formed on the shielding shell (40) and is fixed to the mounting groove (46) with a tightening band (60) whose diameter can be decreased with a tool.

  • Patent number: 8235752
Abstract: A connector has an inner housing with a cavity for housing a terminal fitting, an outer housing assembled displaceably to the inner housing and a rubber plug. The rubber plug has a sealing portion, a vibration reducing portion and a vibration absorbing portion. The sealing portion is mounted fixedly on a rear end portion of the terminal fitting and is brought into close contact with an inner peripheral surface of the cavity. The vibration reducing portion is fit in a holding hole formed in the outer housing and thus is displaced with the outer housing. The vibration absorbing portion has a smaller thickness than the vibration reducing portion and connects the sealing portion to the vibration reducing portion. The vibration absorbing portion is outside the holding hole and in front of the holding hole.

  • Patent number: 8235743
Abstract: A locking piece (51) posturing like a cantilever is disposed on a periphery of a connector (20) by extending the locking piece (51) forward from a rear side thereof along a direction in which the connector (20) is inserted into a mounting hole (12) of a bracket (10). A locking projection (55) which elastically locks a to-be-locked plate (13) formed at an upper side of the locking piece (51) by bending the bracket (10) rearward from an edge of the mounting hole (12) is formed by striking a part of the locking piece (51). When a force acts on the connector (20) in a removal direction, a tensile load acts on the locking piece (51). Therefore the locking piece (51) hardly deforms. Thereby it is possible to prevent the connector (20) from slipping off the bracket (10).

  • Patent number: 8238998
Abstract: A disposable tab electrode has core elements that include an adhesive conductive laminate layer and a logo sticker layer with a penetrating hole for contacting a sensor electrode. A protecting film is put around both ends of the core elements. As a result, the disposable tab electrode can be made inexpensively, stored hygienically for a long time and used easily. A lead wire for connecting to the tab electrode has a projection on one end of a sensor electrode that is adhered onto the conductive laminate layer of the disposable tab electrode. The projection is fixed to the lead wire body by a fixing member. As a result, expensive Ag—AgCl electrode sensors can be used repeatedly. The lead wire can have a nipper self-contained or integrated with the lead wire body to prevent the lead wire from separating from the disposable tab electrode during use.
