  • Patent number: 7814587
Abstract: An apparatus for applying a motion simulating a moving vehicle to an infant's carrier. A platform supporting the carrier is suspended on flexible members in an open-topped enclosure. A pair of crank shafts with cranks upon which are mounted frictional members positioned under the platform. The frictional members cause the platform to rise and fall and sets it into complex motion on the flexible members while the motion of the frictional members gently bounces an infant in the carrier. By varying the length of the flexible members and the speed of the crank shafts, a user may find a setting effective at calming the infant and inducing sleep.

  • Patent number: 7743716
Abstract: A motorized elevator unit for adjusting the height of counter tops has right and left elevator assemblies under control of a primary control switch. Each elevator assembly includes top and bottom frames which may be formed from T-slotted framing with the top frame sliding vertically along the bottom frame on rollers received in the bottom frame. A movable counter top is mounted on the top frames and a motor drive assembly raises and lowers the top frames in unison. The elevator unit may be housed in a standard base cabinet and may be integrated with other standard base cabinets having stationary counter tops.

  • Patent number: 7735784
Abstract: A railroad switch indicator for visually signaling the position of a pair of railroad switchpoints independently of the mechanism for operating the switch. The indicator includes a sleeve with windows in which is reciprocated a slide with reflectors selected ones of which are visible through the windows of the sleeve for indicating safety conditions of the track. An arm with an upwardly extending finger engages the slide and is attached to the transverse bar that moves the switchpoints for reciprocation of the slide within the sleeve conjointly with movement of the switchpoints by the transverse bar.

  • Patent number: 7703482
Abstract: A labial bow bending device for use in quickly and accurately forming a Hawley retainer or other removable orthodontic appliance. The bending device includes a turret with pins on opposite ends for forming a pair of standardized pre-measured vertical loops in an orthodontic wire for use in a maxillary or mandibular labial bow. A measuring scale is provided on the turret for establishing the distance between the vertical loops during formation of the labial bow such that the distal legs of the vertical loops pass between the canines and first bicuspids of a plaster model of a patient's teeth. The turret also includes a plurality of circular grooves of different diameters for use in forming an incisor section of the labial bow between the vertical loops into a smooth arc that conforms to the curve of the labial surfaces of the incisors on the plaster model.

  • Patent number: 7694427
Abstract: A pipe fitting wireform which when threaded into a fitting allows a user to measure center-to-end or end-to-center of the fitting to determine the length of a pipe needed to connect a pair of pipe fittings in a pipe assembly. The fitting wireform is a coil with a free end bent laterally to form a tang. The fitting wireform having an outside diameter substantially equal to the nominal size of the pipe fitting with substantially the same number of turns per inch as the pipe fitting such that the pipe fitting wireform can be threaded into the pipe fitting.

  • Patent number: 7690540
Abstract: A liquid scent dispenser for spraying droplets of liquid scent under control of a controller. In a manual mode, the controller is programmed to dispense droplets at intervals on signal of a tilt switch such that the times of spraying can be keyed to a hunter's walking rate. In an automatic mode, the controller is programmed to dispense droplets at preset intervals. LEDs are provided on the dispenser to indicate the mode in which the controller is programmed.
