  • Patent number: 7581735
Abstract: A skateboard/ski combination wherein the four wheels of a traditional skateboard have been removed, while the skateboard trucks remain in place, and are then replaced with four ski apparatuses. An anchoring plate connects springs from the underside of the skateboard deck to the ski apparatus base that maintains a traditional ski shape, with rails that protrude outward from the front and rear of the ski base, still maintaining a traditional ski shovel shape. The ski base, which has a flat or concave surface perpendicular to the length of the ski, contains a radius positioned longitudinally to the ski length (rocker) that then transitions to a small radius at the front and rear of the skis, thereby providing a traditional ski shovel in the front and rear of the ski base. Metal or plastic rails are mounted to the ski base on opposing sides of the base in a vertical fashion, extending below the surface of the base.

  • Patent number: 7516883
Abstract: A financial transaction system in which a participant may make a purchase of goods or services from a merchant using an access device such as a payment card. Upon approval, the transaction is routed for net settlement of all funding to a Program Manager that applies logic to the transaction to calculate a merchant funded loyalty reward to the participant and administration and bank association fees. The bank association funds the merchant's account net rebate and other fees. The participant's rebate, if in cash, is placed in an investment account which may be interest bearing and is distributed upon the occurrence of an event such as retirement. The rebate provides the participant a convenient way to save money while also providing business benefits to the merchants.

  • Patent number: 7503291
Abstract: A reciprocating device which may be operated either as a compressor or an engine. Each cylinder has a reciprocating piston connected to a piston rod. Dual cylinder chambers are located in each cylinder on opposite sides of the piston. The pistons are connected to a scotch yoke which translates the reciprocating motion of the pistons to rotary motion at a shaft in the engine mode. In the compressor mode, the shaft is connected to a power source. The engine components such as the pistons, rods, bushings and cylinder lines may be high quality steel or a ceramic.

  • Patent number: 7484515
Abstract: A combination sink and jet parts washer for cleaning mechanical parts of oil, grease and contaminants. The washer has a cabinet which has a jet cleaning section and a reservoir. A parts receptacle in the jet cleaning section receives the parts which are cleaned by a spray from a spray manifold. The manifold is connected to a fluid pump which has its inlet communicating with the reservoir. A sink is positioned on the top of the cabinet and opens to access the jet washer and reservoir. In the closed position, the sink covers the top of the cabinet and may be used as a sink washer using the attached brush. In a preferred embodiment, the sink is hinged to the cabinet but may be a lift-off sink or may be on a track. The jet parts washer provides convenience, economy and the features of a sink and jet washer in a single, compact, mobile unit.

  • Patent number: 7481900
Abstract: A method of molding an inexpensive door skin with stylized panels using machined wooden strips which extend around the panel areas to simulate the appearance of a solid wood door. Wood veneer sections are placed on the mold around the wood strips and in between the panel areas and the laid up assembly is compressed by molding to form a door skin having the appearance of a solid wood door surface with raised panels. A backing of fiberboard such as MDF or similar material is placed against the back of the laid up assembly prior to compression.

  • Patent number: 7359207
Abstract: A fixture assembly for holding printed circuit boards (PCBAs) during processing such as wave soldering. The fixture assembly consists of multiple plates which are assembled to define protective cavities and recesses for masking components such as surface mounted devices and define apertures so that pass-through leads are exposed at the bottom or secondary side of the bottom plate. An optional weighting member may be used to firmly secure the PCBA during processing. The multi-plate structure is cost effective reducing milling and machining operations normally attendant to the fabrication of a fixture assembly. In another embodiment, a stencil is provided with cut-outs corresponding to protected area on the PCBA. A soluble masking material is applied to the stencil and board prior to wave soldering. The masking material is subsequently rinsed away.
