Abstract: Metallic guide elements having a functional area are made from profiled blanks by hot forming the profiled blanks and subsequently milling in a high speed milling cutter system the profiled blanks by a position-controlled milling cutter head with milling disks of a great diameter, wherein in the step of hot forming the profiled blanks are matched with regard to a cross-sectional mass distribution of the profiled blanks, respectively, to the subsequent step of milling such that by a partial cutting removal in the areas of the profiled blanks that become the functional area of the guide element narrow dimensional tolerances are produced. The material flow of the profiled blanks within the high-speed milling cutter system is controlled autonomously by an integrated stacking device that has manipulators and turning stations.

Abstract: For automatic identification of microorganisms collected on a carrier, a color image of the carrier surface with collected microorganisms is recorded and digitalized. The digitalized image is converted into a grayscale image and optionally converted subsequently into a silhouette image. When microorganisms are present, an image is produced with full-surface labeled objects of a first grayscale and a background of a second grayscale. Objects are identified in the grayscale and/or silhouette image by a model-based comparative method. Contours of the objects are marked in the color or grayscale image. Features of the objects in the color image and/or grayscale image are determined. The objects are classified based on the features. The classified objects are indicated and/or saved as species, name and/or code. Non-classified objects are indicated and/or saved as color, grayscale and/or silhouette image. Non-classified objects are subsequently discarded or added as a new case to the classification system.

Abstract: A light has a housing of plastic material and a light fixture that is arranged within the housing and that receives at least one light bulb. The housing is made from plates that each have outer edges that are beveled at an angle of 45 degrees and provide contact surfaces where the plates adjoin one another. The plates are glued to one another in the area of the contact surfaces over the entire surface area of the contact surfaces in such a way that the plates are joined flush without the outer edges projecting past one another. The housing has a bottom side provided with a circular cutout, wherein the light fixture projects through the circular cutout into the housing. A member is provided that releasably closes the circular cutout. The member is a base or a closure lid.

Abstract: A hand-guided portable vacuum/blower device has a blower unit with a blower and a motor unit with a drive motor. The blower unit is rigidly connected to the motor unit. The drive motor is drivingly connected to the blower. A grip part is connected with antivibration elements to the motor unit and the blower unit. The grip part is at least approximately ring-shaped and has a first handle. The grip part is arranged in a plane that is positioned perpendicularly to an axis of rotation of the blower and, when viewed in the direction of the axis of rotation, is located between the motor unit and the blower unit.

Abstract: A force-sensing device has a yoke having a location of force introduction for a force to be measured acting in a predetermined direction. A measuring spring has a first end rigidly connected to the yoke and is elastically deformable by the force to be measured. The measuring spring has a second end arranged on a support rigidly connectable to a machine frame. First predetermined measuring locations are provided that detect and evaluate a deformation of the measuring spring caused by the force to be measured. Parallel and spaced apart bending springs are connected to the yoke in such a way that the yoke is always guided in parallel in a transverse direction that is transverse to the predetermined direction of the force to be measured. Second predetermined measuring locations are provided on the bending springs and detect a transverse deformation caused by a force in the transverse direction.

Abstract: A collector for stacking sheets of paper, plastics, and cardboard has a feeding device and a tray downstream of the feeding device in the feeding direction. The tray is arranged in a lowered position relative to the feeding device. A stop is provided downstream of the tray. At least one transport roll transports sheets individually from the feeding device onto the tray to form a stack. An adjusting element is arranged in an area where the feeding device and the tray adjoin, wherein the adjusting element is adjustable between a lowered rest position and a position of use lifted relative to the rest position. In the position of use, the adjusting element lifts a trail end of a first sheet that has reached the tray such that a following second sheet is moved into a position underneath the trail end of the first sheet.

Abstract: A vacuum skimmer for ponds, swimming pools or similar bodies of water has housing with an intake opening and a dirt collecting container arranged downstream for collecting coarse materials. The water to be purified is sucked in through the dirt collecting container by a pump arranged downstream. The intake opening is provided on one housing side. The vacuum skimmer is movable in such a way that the intake opening upon operation of the vacuum skimmer can orient itself in different directions. The vacuum skimmer has an aeration device by means of which air can be blown into the water.

Abstract: A silane resin that can be structured photochemically and/or thermally is obtained by at least partial condensation of a mixture of a) at least one silane compound RaR2bSiX4-a-b wherein R is a group polymerizable photochemically and/or thermally via an organic group by radical or cationic polymerization; R2 is a straight-chain, branched, or cyclic C1-C12 alkyl group; X is identical or different and is a leaving group; a is 1 or 2; b is 0 or 1; a+b is not more than 2; and b) at least one silanediol R12Si(OH)2 wherein R1 is identical or different and is a straight-chain, branched, or cyclic C1-C12 alkyl group or a group polymerizable photochemically and/or thermally via an organic group by radical or cationic polymerization, provided the group does not contain aryl. The silane resins have dielectric properties useful in extremely high frequency applications.

Abstract: A stamped film to be connected to an additional film has a stamped pattern defining at least one dividing line that is interrupted in a regular pattern by webs, wherein the webs each have a width that is, on average, less than an average spacing between two adjacently positioned ones of the webs, respectively. The stamped pattern has, at least in one direction, several dividing lines extending parallel to one another or has several dividing lines extending perpendicularly to one another. When mirroring the stamped film at a mirror plane that intersects the stamped film centrally and perpendicularly to the dividing lines, the webs of the dividing lines will not be superimposed on webs of a stamped film that has not been mirrored when superimposing the mirrored stamped film on the stamped film that has not been mirrored. The stacked films form electrochemical or electrochromic compounds.

Abstract: A storage case has a base and a lid parallel to the base. The base has a rigid base plate with a rigid support for a data disk that stores digital information. The base has a fastening zone arranged centrally on the base plate and connected to the base plate by springy radial sections. The fastening zone has a central rigid pressure element and tongues distributed about the pressure element for securing positively the data disk. The tongues have integral snap-on cams projecting past an edge of a central opening of the data disk resting on the support. The radial sections have inner ends connected directly to the pressure element. The tongues are connected by a bending location to the inner ends. The container wall has an inner side and the strap handle is arranged on the inner side. The container wall has an access opening through which the strap handle is accessible from the exterior of the container. A support patch made of plastic film is connected to the container wall. The access opening is closed off relative to the interior of the container by the support patch.

At least one sensor that senses a load acting on the rope drum is provided. An exchangeably secured component that is exchangeable without dismounting the at least one bearing support is provided. The at least one sensor is arranged on the exchangeably secured component.

Abstract: A starter device for an internal combustion engine has a drive element and a output element. The drive element enables driving the starter device in rotation. The output element is supported rotatably about an axis of rotation and has a coupling device for releasably coupling the starter device to the crankshaft. A coil spring is arranged operatively between drive element and output element in an axial direction between a first abutment at the drive element and a second abutment at the output element. The first and second abutments have a first spacing relative to one another at least at one circumferential location in a first area and a second spacing relative to one another in a second area. The first and second spacing are measured parallel to the axis of rotation. The first spacing is smaller than the second spacing. The first area is radially outside of the second area.
