Abstract: A shipping container for semiconductor substrate wafers including a rectangular receptacle having a plurality of outwardly extending aligned and opposing vertical rib members which are spaced on the interior opposing sides of the receptacle, and interchangeable upper and lower cover members having finger and post structure to support and space each of the wafers. The upper and lower cover members engage with the outer sides of the receptacle. The receptacle includes latching crossbars across offset ends of each side of the receptacle which engage with locking members extending from each end of the upper and lower cover members. The upper and lower cover members include a plurality of opposing fingers spaced the longitudinal distance of the covers which support the wafer at arcuate points on the wafer and a plurality of posts spaced in between the opposing fingers along the longitudinal distance of the covers which provide separation between each of the wafers.

Abstract: A picture viewer having a housing to confine a pile of pictures, a slider to be withdrawn and returned to the housing, a viewing window, a pressure plate confronting the window, springs urging the plate toward the window, a retention strip to engage and strip off the picture at the end of the pile upon withdrawal of the slides, a separator strip to retain the pile as the one picture is stripped off, a slidable button on the housing to disable the springs and draw the plate away from the window, and a confining ledge on the slider also drawing the plate away from the window and independently of the slidable button.

Abstract: A rotary piston filler with a plurality of cylinders and pistons around the periphery of the turret to fill containers rotating with the turret, a circumferential cam bar surrounding the turret, a cam follower following the cam bars and producing reciprocation of the piston, a lost motion connection between the cam follower and the piston in the connection for varying the magnitude of throw in the reciprocating movement of the piston.

Abstract: An electrode mounting plate having a flat face adhesively bonded to a graphite electrode and an opposite face forming a trough with reinforcing ribs, the trough being covered in use by the mounting plate of the spark machining apparatus to define a chamber communicating with the dielectric circulation system of the apparatus. Flow passages for the dielectric fluid are formed by drilling holes through the mounted electrode and the flat face of the electrode mounting plate.

Abstract: A grain dryer having upright grain passages defined by perforate walls confining grain columns therein, the grain passages having offset portions and common inlets and outlets and vertically spaced plenum chambers, and a duct with a fan and burner drawing air from the lower plenum and applying the air in the upper plenum, a pair of upright imperforate plates lying along the exterior of the grain passages and directing a portion of the air emerging from the upper plenum to be recycled by again passing inwardly through the column and into the lower plenum.

Abstract: A plurality of rectangular plates having stacking elements on their upper and lower surfaces, the stacking elements being complimentary to those on rectangular containers such that the plates can be connected between any two containers in a stack. The plates further have complimentary interconnecting elements on their lateral sides to allow locking together of adjacent stacks of containers into a complact block.

Abstract: A container for confining a pile of pictures and displaying one of the pictures, a housing with a movable part facilitating removal and insertion of pictures, a viewing window, a backing device with a portion engaging and urging the pile of prints toward the window, and a movable spring or latch to hold the backing device against the displayed print, said backing device being released upon actuation of said movable part.
