Abstract: An aircraft engine bleed air ducting system including at least one universal ball joint within said ducting, said joint fitted with an annular bearing seal to seal and reduce the coefficient of friction between moving parts in said joint during angulation of said joint. The annular bearing seal includes a reinforcement wire surrounded by a graphite composition, which composition is in direct contact with parts of said bearing seal and said wire aids in prevention of deformation of said bearing seal.

Abstract: A quick connect-disconnect coupling for joining two drive shafts on a common axis for simultaneous movement where one drive shaft extends from a prime mover and the other from a piece of equipment. The coupling includes a first mating member mounted on one of the drive shafts that has socket means and drive pin means, and a second mating member on the other of said drive shafts that has a ball member matable with said socket and pin engaging means to receive said pins which when said pins are rotated will impart rotation to the first mating member for simultaneous rotation.

Abstract: A ventilator door and fan control assembly for use with a range hood which is adapted for use in a recreational vehicle wherein there is a plate associated with said ventilation door to open and close the door that is activated by a cable controlled by an operator handle mounted on the range hood within a switch holder and guide. The operator handle and the switch holder and guide are adapted to receive a conventional fan switch and simultaneously activate or deactivate a fan with the opening or closing of the ventilator door.

Abstract: A swivel joint with electrical conduit guide means adapted to be mounted on a wall and having an opposed end to which an electrical fixture may be affixed. The joint includes a first and second half with mateable serrated teeth to lock one half to the other at an angle one to the other. In addition, a conduit guide means is mounted within one of the halves and fully enclosed by the other half and at least one half has an interior bore tapered downward in diameter presenting its smallest cross-section to said guide means. The guide means also includes structure to allow bending of said conduit with the angling of one half to the other without damage to said conduit.

Abstract: A monitor panel for insertion into a range hood for use in recreational vehicles wherein said panel employs locking wall means for quick connect-disconnect hand insertion and removal of the panel from an opening in said range hood. Said locking wall means cooperate with said monitor panel to maintain said panel within said opening against said range hood.

Abstract: An electrical coupling separator tool which includes a handle means and secured thereto is a bifurcated plug biasing means including plug engaging-biasing fingers to engage a surface upon which a fixed portion of an electrical coupling is mounted and to straddle a movable portion of the coupling so that hand and arm pressure applied to the handle portion will leverage the tool and disengage the movable portion form the fixed portion of the coupling.

Abstract: An improvement in a hydraulic motor for use with an airless paint sprayer system which includes releasable stop means that lock a spool means within said motor to a surrounding sleeve which stop means signal the end of upper and lower strokes of a reciprocating piston associated with said sleeve. In addition, hydraulic fluid anti shock means are provided to prevent the rupture of outlet filter means.

Abstract: A downhole heating generator for producing steam or hot water in oil wells to aid in the recovery of oil includes an elongated cylindrical housing suspended by a cable within the tube string of an oil well bore at the level of a geological formation to be heated. The housing has a closed bottom forming a container continously receiving water through a hose from a ground level source and contains a pair of electrode rods, preferably of carbon, mounted in end-to-end spaced aligned relationship and immersed at least partially in the water received in the housing for boiling the water and/or generating steam. The electrodes are connected to a ground level electrical transformer and are arranged to be capable of being energized at at least 2300 volts without arcing therebetween. The steam or hot water is discharged from the housing through an upper exit opening and is directed through openings in the tube string to the geological formation to be heated.

Abstract: A composite plastic foam pillow has a convoluted upper surface, a flat lower surface and a core disposed between those surfaces which is provided with a central void for imparting decreased firmness to the pillow adjacent the void. It is fabricated by coring a block of plastic foam, cutting out a central portion of the core, and then replacing the core and sealing it in its original position.

Abstract: This invention relates to an improvement in a reciprocating piston type pump having spaced radially expanding packings which are expandable in response to axial pressure on the packings. There is also included a compression spring between the packings. The pump contains means to vary the compression of the compression spring dependent upon the pressures within the pump during operation.
