Abstract: A device for handling and identifying small implants used for the coaptation of bone fragments or osteosynthesis. The device is characterized in that it includes a small implant and a matching identifying support, the support including a body, at least partially made of an elastically deformable material. The body includes a retaining housing whose shape corresponds to that of the small implant matching the support and in which the implant is at least partially accommodated. The support also includes a characterization mechanism enabling it to be identified and hereby rendering the implant that matches the support recognizable.
Abstract: The present invention of a multi-functional dressing mirror is applied to a portable case body for containing a plane mirror inside, in addition, the outer covering, a convex mirror made from materials showing the effect of light transmission, can be used to magnify a user's reflection while s/he is staring at the plane mirror. Moreover, the present invention enables the user to directly use either the plane mirror or the convex mirror while the case lid is opened.
Abstract: A lifting apparatus for use in the bed of a pickup truck having a lifting bar of a generally U-shaped configuration with one side pivotally connected to a side wall of the bed of the pickup truck and an opposite side pivotally connected to another side wall of the bed of the pickup truck. A cylinder has a piston rod extending outwardly therefrom. This piston rod has an end pivotally connected to a linkage connected to the lifting bar. The cylinder is actuatable so as to move the piston rod between a retracted position and an extended position such that the lifting bar is pivotable relative to the movement of the piston rod. The linkage has a scissor-like configuration which allows the lifting bar to be stowed completely within the interior of the bed of the pickup truck.
Abstract: An instrument for removing a crown by generating a couple of forces between the occlusal surface of the stump of the tooth and the basal surface of the crown. The instrument has an indented intermediate portion and a working part extending from a tapered intermediate portion and a handle. When inserted in a groove formed at the occlusal part of the stump along a plane substantially parallel to the occlusal surface of the crown, the working portion enables, by a physical action, exertion of a couple of forces between the respective occlusal surfaces of the stump and the basal surface of the crown. The working part is rotatable integrally and correspondingly with a rotation of the handle.
Abstract: A reflectorized lace or the like includes an inner layer, a reflectorized outer layer encasing the inner layer, and a protective layer covering the reflectorized outer layer. The protective layer is made of a woven material having a number of open spaces to allow passage of light rays. The protective layer is provided with one or more attachment patches by which the lace may be attached to an object.
Abstract: An electric cart chassis includes a front unit and a rear unit. The front unit is fastened to a front wheel assembly and is formed of at least two support rods and a locating rod. The rear unit is fastened to a rear wheel assembly and is formed of at least two sleeves and a locating sleeve. The front unit is adjustably fastened to the rear unit such that the two support rods are adjustably fastened to the two sleeves, and such that the locating rod is adjustably fastened to the locating sleeve in conjunction with a locating bolt which is put through a locating hole of the locating sleeve and one of a series of locating holes of the locating rod.
Abstract: An electrical plug includes a first insulating body, a first prong extending from one end of the first insulating body, a second insulating body, and a second prong extending from one end of the second insulating body. The first insulating body and the second insulating body are separably held together so as to enable the first prong and the second prong to fit into the electrical outlets of various specifications.

The expandable support rod is formed of at least one adjusting member, a lower tubular member, and an upper tubular member which is slidably received in the lower tubular member in conjunction with the adjusting member such that the upper tubular member is located by a seat tube and an upper lock ring of the adjusting member, and such that the lower tubular member is positioned by the seat tube and a lower lock ring of the adjusting member.
Abstract: Solid fuels, such as contaminated biomass and solid city waste, are converted into a synthesized gas by gasification and exploitation of the energy contained in the fuels. The fuel is gasified an a co-current gasogen (1), while the cinders are separated, removed and purified after a fraction of the fuels has undergone combustion and before the fuel has been gasified. Cinder purification is made by complete combustion, while the fuel that has undergone the gasification step without being completely transformed in CO is recirculated by mixing it to fresh fuel material. The process is carried out in an apparatus comprising a vertical co-current gasogen (1) and a device for the separation and removal of cinders (16,19,5,6) as well as a scorification chamber (3) where cinders are purified from accompanying fuel material by complete combustion and are then collected in a waste tank (28).
Abstract: A pet drinking fountain includes a water reservoir, a spout, a muzzle fastened to the outer end of the spout, and a stop ball movably disposed in the hollow interior of the muzzle such that the stop ball is partially emerged from an opening of the muzzle. The spout is provided in the longitudinal through hole with an air tube which is provided with an air passage and is smaller in diameter than the longitudinal through hole of the spout. The air tube is located in the spout such that the air passage of the air tube is in communication with the muzzle and the water reservoir, and such that the air tube and the inner wall of the longitudinal through hole of the spout form therebetween a water passage in communication with the water reservoir and the muzzle.
Abstract: A mixing and reducing machine with an upward-conveying mixing spiral that rotates around a vertical rotational axle. In order to achieve a more intensive mixing of the mixed product a second mixing spiral is connected in the axial direction after a first mixing spiral, with a transition zone arranged in between. In this way, zones of different axial conveying capacity are connected after each other in the axial direction. The mixing spirals are formed of several mixing blades arranged after each other in the circumferential direction.
Abstract: A machine for high rate serial bending of a tube includes a bending head provided with a radius block and a backing block including, at the periphery, a groove with a semicircular cross-section and a driver for the backing block in rotation coaxial to the radius block, so as to drive the tube to be bent and wind it on the radius block. The radius block includes a disc including a beveled panel arranged along a chord of the disc and it includes device for moving the bending head relative to the axis of the tube along a path passing through the pins of the radius block and the backing block and a device for axially rotating the radius block independently from the displacement of the backing block.

Abstract: A sight for locking device for preventing motion sickness, characterized in that it consists of an impermeable, transparent or translucent tubular container closed on itself. There are enclosed at least two substances having different states and/or masses, whereof at least one visible interface physically represents sight markers, when the device is positioned in the peripheral visual field of one eye or both eyes of the user. The invention is particularly and advantageously useful for producing spectacle inhibiting motion sickness.

Abstract: A process for making a fuel product from paper mill sludge including dewatering the paper mill sludge so as to have a solids content of greater than 7 percent by weight, mixing an oxide-containing chemical and molasses with the dewatered paper mill sludge, pressurizing the mixed sludge to a pressure of greater than 6 p.s.i. for a period of time of no less than 15 seconds, and drying the pressurized mixed sludge to no less than 60 percent solids by weight. The oxide-containing chemical can be either calcium oxide or calcium hydroxide. The oxide-containing chemical is mixed in an amount of between 1 percent to 10 percent by weight of the dewatered paper mill sludge. The molasses is mixed in an amount of between 0.1 percent and 1 percent by weight of the dewatered paper mill sludge. The method also includes grinding the dried sludge to a desired size of no less than 325 mesh and no larger than one-quarter inch in diameter. The dried sludge has a heating content of no less than 5,000 BTUs/pound.
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a lithium polymer secondary battery including cells each having an anode, a cathode, and an isolation film, which is capable of minimizing the gap between each electrode and the isolation film, and uniformly distributing stress over the entire surface of each electrode. This method involves preparing anode plates having a desired size, cathode plates having a desired size, and an isolation film having a desired size; wrapping one of the anode plates by the isolation film, wrapping one of the cathode plates by the isolation film; wherein it is overlapped with the anode plate, thereby forming one of the cells, and stacking remaining plates at both sides of the formed cell while rotating the formed cell, and simultaneously wrapping by the isolation film so that they are alternately arranged in a state in which the isolation film is tensioned by a desired tension.
