Abstract: This application discloses methods of preparing .alpha.,.alpha.-diloweralkyl substituted benzylamines by the catalytic hydrogenation of the corresponding .alpha.,.alpha.-dialkyl-4-(phenyl-ethynyl)-benzylamine. The produced .alpha.,.alpha.-diloweralkylamines are converted to the corresponding N-alkyl and N,N-dialkyl derivatives thereof. The amines and their alkylated derivatives are useful as antiarrhythmics.
Abstract: Improved cementing compositions and their use in cementing operations is disclosed, wherein copolymers of hydrolyzed acrylamide and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid derivatives are used as fluid loss additives for aqueous hydraulic cement slurries.

Abstract: Alcohols, particularly anhydrous alcohols, thickened with aminomethylated polyacrylamide, used as fracturing fluids for stimulating well production.
Abstract: Oxazolo[4,5-b]pyridine substituted in the 2-position with a polyhydrobicycloaryl group are topical anti-inflammatory agents. They are prepared by condensing a 2-amino-3-hydroxypyridine with the appropriate carboxylic compound.
Abstract: Tricyclicdicarboximides representatively prepared by the Diels-Alder condensation of a cyclic diene such as cycloheptatriene, cyclooctatetraene and the like with a dienophile such as substituted N-phenylmaleimide and the like are disclosed having pharmaceutical utility as minor tranquilizers and anti-convulsants. Also disclosed are processes for the preparation of such tricyclicdicarboximides; pharmaceutical compositions comprising such compounds and their salt, ester and amide derivatives; and methods of treatment comprising administering such compounds and compositions.
