Abstract: Paper roll holders are formed of wire rod and provide a pair of holder devices on opposite sides of a central support. Each holder device has a support arm and a resilient tension arm together defining a push-on, pull-off type paper roll holder. The tension arms are specifically designed to reduce tension and equalize pressure on the respective paper rolls.
Abstract: A hand held housing encloses a battery powered sound generator from which an audible voice simulating tone is transmitted through a tube when a push button switch is depressed also causing illumination of an indicator lamp. The tube is displaceable relative to the housing between extended and retracted positions. In the extended position, the tube may be inserted into the mouth.
Abstract: A centrifugal pump is provided including a first stationary seal ring mounted from the pump housing for slight axial and radial shifting relative thereto. The stationary seal ring includes inner and outer large and small diameter axially facing seal faces and the impeller of the pump supports a pair of inner and outer seal rings each supported from the impeller for limited radial and axial shifting relative thereto. The inner and outer seal rings axially oppose and are disposed in sliding contact with the inner and outer seal faces of the stationary ring. Also, the impeller of the pump and the tangential outlet thereof include structural features which greatly facilitate usage of the pump in pumping thick fluids.

Abstract: A waste recycling kit by which trash can be separated into its categories at its source, placed into standard size supermarket grocery bags and delivered to a collection point, such as at curb side, while in the bag for maintaining categorization of the trash until it reaches a recycling facility. The kit includes a wall mounted organizer in the form of a rack having a plurality of compartments shaped and configured to receive supermarket paper bags with indicia designating the category of trash to be placed in each bag. The bags may be removed from the compartments and placed in an exterior container which may be an in-ground container or a wheeled container that may be oriented at curb side so that a plurality of the bags may be placed in the container for pickup by personnel attending a pickup vehicle which is constructed to maintain the separated trash categorized until it delivers the trash to a recycling facility.
Abstract: A pair of spaced apart, upright and adjacent fence posts are provided having upper and lower end portions and their lower end portions embedded in the ground. An upper horizontal brace extends between and is anchored to the upper end portions of the posts at an elevation spaced appreciably above the ground and a pair of guides are anchored relative to the posts at generally ground level. A pair of elongated inclined braces have their lower ends slidingly engaged with the guides and their upper ends anchored to the longitudinal mid-portion of the horizontal brace. The guides and the lower ends of the inclined braces include co-acting structure releasably locking the lower ends of the inclined braces in adjusted shifted positions relative to the guides.
Abstract: A pull type swather is provided with an adjustable hitch assembly for converting the swather as between a field position in which it is pulled widthwise by a tractor and a transport position in which it is pulled substantially lengthwise. The hitch assembly comprises a hitch pole pivotally connected to the swather frame, a telescopic assembly pivotally connected between the swather frame and the hitch pole and a hydraulic cylinder for extending and retracting the telescopic assembly so as to change the angle of the hitch pole as between the field and transport positions. The swather also includes pivotal wheel assemblies movable by separate hydraulic cylinders as between field and transport wheel positions. The respective hydraulic cylinders are connected in series in a hydraulic circuit for least-resistance sequence operation when converting the apparatus as between the field and transport configurations. The apparatus allows for effortless conversion as between the field and transport configurations.
Abstract: A chair support for a concrete reinforcing bar is formed from smaller and larger molded plastic elements each in the form of a letter A with diverging legs, and upper cross member, and a lower cross member. The smaller element fits through the opening of the larger element and locks in place perpendicularly to the larger element by interengaging notches in the respective cross members.

Abstract: An upstanding tubular candle holder is provided in which to receive a consumable candle. The upper end of the tubular candle holder is tapered and defines an upper opening of a diameter slightly smaller than the diameter of the candle to be used within the holder. The interior of the holder receives a consumable candle and spring structure is provided for upwardly yieldingly biasing the candle to a position with the upper end thereof abutted against the inner surfaces of the holder disposed about the opening and with the wick of the candle projecting through the opening.
Abstract: A device with use in combination with an expansible sleeve-type gas flow control valve in a production gas supply between a compressor and a delivery line provides pressure differential control as between the valve inlet and the valve outlet by relating hydraulic control pressure around the resilient sleeve of the valve to valve outlet gas flow pressure through a primary piston and cylinder assembly. The primary piston is linked to a secondary piston in a secondary cylinder of smaller diameter which in turn communicates with an accumulator for dampening pulsations in the valve.
Abstract: A firearm mechanism having an external hammer manually moved to a cocked position with a transfer bar moving into position between the hammer and firing pin to transfer impact of the hammer to the firing pin with the improvement in this invention including a flipper assembly associated with the hammer and trigger to prevent movement of the trigger and transfer bar unless the hammer has been retracted from its at rest position down against the frame.

Abstract: The concentration of conductive metal in a paint composition is reduced to the range of 20-30% by weight by the addition of Toluene to Butyl Acetate at a weight ratio thereto of approximately 1:3 in the liquid vehicle portion of the paint.
Abstract: A tubular conversion cartridge is provided for the outer tubular member of a self-feeding consumable candle holder and may be utilized to replace the consumable candle follower and guide sleeve within the outer tubular member of the holder in order to convert the holder into an electrically actuated simulated candle.
Abstract: A tool for removing broken corks from bottles has an elongate transverse handle with a smaller end for pushing a cork into a bottle and a larger knob end for gripping in the hand. Between the ends of the handle is a transverse stem to which is attached opposite ends of a band forming a cork removing loop. The opposite ends of the band have internal projections which fit in recesses in the stem and are covered by a sleeve which can slide on the outside of the stem. This provides a particularly convenient form of attachment as between the band and the stem allowing for ready replacement of broken bands.
Abstract: An elevated platform is provided including one longitudinal marginal portion alongside which an elongated tank body of a vehicle may be disposed. The marginal portion of the platform pivotally mounts a pair of extension panels therefrom in slightly spaced relation therealong for movement between raised inoperative positions and downwardly and outwardly inclined operative positions and a step ramp has one end pivotally mounted from the platform between the panels for swinging movement between a raised inoperative position and a downwardly and outwardly inclined inoperative position. The outer margins of the panels and the outer end of the step ramp are generally coterminous when in the operative positions for engagement with and support from the near side of the top of a tank body and an upstanding railing assembly is swingably mounted from the platform and positionable for engaging and the support from the far side of the top of a tank body with which the panels and the ramp are engaged.
Abstract: A pair of brace anchors are carried by a pair of adjacent fence posts and include support members projecting outwardly from the brace anchors toward each other. A bracing fence rail is interposed between the post with the opposite ends of the rail and the support members telescopingly engaged with each other and two pairs of wire strands are anchored and extend between lower and upper end portions of the adjacent posts. An elongated lever is inserted between each pair of wire strands and angularly displaced about an axis extending along the corresponding pair of wire strands in order to twist the latter and thereby reduce the effective length thereof until the wire strands are tensioned, as desired.
