  • Patent number: 8060239
Abstract: According to the invention, an initial trajectory (2) that is to be followed in a positionally guided manner is input into a computer (15), said initial trajectory (2) being described by an initial function (AF) such that one respective corresponding position (pA) is determined on the initial trajectory (2) by substituting a scalar trajectory parameter (s) into the initial function (AF). The scalar trajectory parameter (s) is different from time (t) while being characteristic of a distance (s) covered along the initial trajectory (2). The computer (15) filters the initial trajectory (2) with low-pass characteristics referring to the scalar trajectory parameter (s) as a function of the scalar trajectory parameter (s) and thus determines a rough function (GF) such that one respective corresponding position (pG) is determined on the rough trajectory (13) by substituting the scalar trajectory parameter (s) into the rough function (GF).

  • Patent number: 8040017
Abstract: A piezo actuator includes an adaptation element, which is configured to adapt the piezo actuator to a controller for inductive loads, particularly to a converter for actuating inductive loads. The adaptation element allows use of controllers or converters of numerical control systems, which normally are used for actuating servo motors. Therefore it is no longer necessary to provide specially designed hardware for the actuation of piezo actuators, but instead the above-mentioned controllers can be used. Furthermore, as a result of the adaptation element, the piezo actuators can be integrated in the bus of the numerical control system. This allows communication in real time via the NC bus.

  • Patent number: 8026687
Abstract: A machine having a drive that directly or indirectly excites vibrations in the machine over a frequency range when the drive is connected to the power supply. A sensor detects a time-dependent signal that is characteristic of the excited vibrations. The time-dependent signal is transmitted to a control device that analyzes the frequency of the time-dependent signal and relates the frequency analysis to the excitation that produces the excitation and uses this relationship to determine a state of at least one element of the machine. The control device outputs a message to an operator of the machine on the basis of the state that is determined. Preferably, the control device applies an interference variable that has at least one frequency inside the frequency range to the drive so as to excite vibrations. The interference variable may be a sinusoidal interference variable whose frequency passes through the frequency range, or a pseudobinary interference variable whose spectrum covers the frequency range.

  • Patent number: 8026643
Abstract: The invention relates to an electrical machine with an internally cooled rotor. In order to improve the cooling power of such a machine without the use of a fan wheel fitted separately on the rotor, the invention proposes an electrical machine with a stator laminate stack and a rotor in a housing, which electrical machine has an internal cooling circuit comprising rotor cooling channels, which pass axially through the rotor and are arranged on two concentric circles, in which internal cooling circuit a gaseous coolant can be circulated, wherein fan vanes and a first means for guiding the coolant from the rotor cooling channels on one of the two concentric circles via a winding head to the rotor cooling channels on the other of the two concentric circles are provided in the case of the machine on a first rotor end side. As a result, particularly those regions are cooled optimally in which the dissipation of lost heat is problematic.

  • Patent number: 8022580
Abstract: A plastics injection-molding machine is to be equipped with a more compact drive that undergoes less wear. For this purpose, it is envisaged to integrate the direct rotational drive into the direct linear drive. Accordingly, the electric linear motor has a pot-shaped external rotor (13), in the inner space of which the main part of a hollow-cylindrical stator (16) of the linear motor is arranged and which is firmly connected to the output shaft (10). The rotary drive has a stator (18), which is mounted on the inner wall of the hollow-cylindrical stator (16) of the linear motor, and a rotor, which is firmly coupled to the output shaft (10) within the stator (18) of the rotary electric motor. This direct drive produces a very compact type of construction and it is possible to dispense with easily wearing threaded spindles.
