Abstract: A method for coordinating traffic signals on a roadway network, preferably of the Multiple Loop System type. The method is also suitable for superimposing on existing grid-like systems of avenues and crossing streets. Two phase traffic-signals, red and green, of equal duration are employed at the roadway intersections. The duration of each phase of the signal cycle is determined as the estimated time for a vehicle to travel from one crossing avenue to the next adjacent crossing avenue. Where the method of signalization is employed on an MLS system, the phase duration is the "estimated time" of a vehicle to travel, first along an endless loop segment, starting at a first intersecting roadway so as to cross the next interconnecting roadways, (ta) times two, and, then, along an interconnecting roadway, from a first endless loop segment to the adjacent endless loop segment (tb).
Abstract: A combined lancet and multi-function cap of the disposable type, for use in obtaining blood samples for diagnostic purposes. The lancet includes a needle with a sharp end and an elongated body of plastic material embedding the needle except for its sharp end. The multi-function cap is also made of plastic material and is detachably mounted onto one end of the body to embed the sharp end and keep it sterile until the lancet is used. The multi-function cap includes a ring having a central opening sized to let pass the sharp end of the needle but not the body of the lancet. The multi-function cap also includes a set of legs or a skirt that project from the ring for connecting the same to the mouth of a lancet injector. Thus, the cap also serves as an isolation barrier between the patient's finger and the physical lancet injector.
Abstract: A stand alone add on system and apparatus for storing and retrieving duplicate facsimile information capable of working in conjunction with a simple facsimile machine. The duplicate facsimile information can be stored in memory, displayed on a screen or be reproduced in multiple fashion.
Abstract: A clothes hanger having a transversely extending member for supporting thereon articles of clothing by means of clamps, each of which has a pair of jaws adapted to hold therebetween free edges of the garment to be supported. The jaws of the clamp are adapted to be held in confronting biased condition for retaining the article of clothing in between the jaws of the clamp. A plastic locking device is provided for maintaining the confronting jaws of the clamp in closed condition, whereby the garments are retained by said hanger.
Abstract: A universally installable climate control system for aftermarket installation in a motor vehicle which includes a heater valve which is controlled by the system and is connected in the supply line to the heater core of the originally installed heater/air conditioner. Additionally, a closed loop climate control system is employed which renders the system transparent to the type of motor vehicle in which it is installed, since the closed loop system ensures that a desired passenger compartment temperature is achieved substantially independent of the operating characteristics of the motor vehicle.
Abstract: A rotatable display tower, preferably for use as a merchandising rack for the original sale of packaged products, preferably audio cassette tapes. The tower provides, in a relative minimum of space, a large number of audio cassette tapes to be viewed "head or face on" and, their spines, too. The display tower securely holds the packages, in a tilted-back manner, yet allows the consumer to easily remove the same for purchase.

Abstract: An aftermarket automatic climate control system is disclosed for use in automobiles to be connected to existing heating, including a fan and fan motor to control the volume of air flow, said system including a control head located in the passenger compartment and a power box adapted to be connected with the automobile's electrical, heating and air conditioning systems, wherein said automatic climate control is connected to the fan positive supply lead of the fan motor.
Abstract: A display rack for books, cassette tapes, compact disks, LP records, etc. comprises an I-frame support for at least two rotatable towers housed thereon. Two or more I-frames and towers are hinged together with the towers supported therebetween for rotation. With the I-frames connected together an extremely versatile structure is presented which enables the display to assume a wide variety of spatial configurations.
Abstract: A packaging device for an audio cassette comprising a sleeve having opposed front and rear walls, opposed side walls and end openings for permitting the introduction of a cassette within a sleeve. A flap extends from the sleeve and is easily detachable from the sleeve to define a card, which has printed material thereon related to the audio material recorded on said tape.
