    Abstract: Window grill clips which can be used to removably attach window grills to windows. The window grill clip has a window frame segment and a grill segment extending from the window frame segment at an upward inclined angle. An opening is defined through the grill segment. A tang connected to the grill segment has a first leg extending away from the grill segment and a second leg extending from the first leg and back toward the opening in the grill segment. The grill segment may have a tab which extends downward from and end of the grill segment opposite an end of the grill segment connected to the window frame segment. Window frame engagement spikes may be provided on the window frame segment.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a spinal disc endoprosthesis. The endoprosthesis has a resilient body formed of one or more materials which may vary in stiffness from a relatively stiff exterior annular gasket portion to a relatively supple central nucleus portion. Concaval-convex elements at least partly surround that nucleus portion so as to retain the nucleus portion and gasket between adjacent vertebral bodies in a patient's spine. Assemblies of endoprosthetic discs, endoprosthetic vertebral bodies, and endoprosthetic longitudinal ligaments may be constructed. To implant this endoprosthesis assembly, information is obtained regarding the size, shape, and nature of a patient's damaged spine. Thereafter, one or more prosthetic vertebral bodies and disc units are constructed in conformity with that information. Finally, the completed and conformed vertebral body and disc assembly is implanted in the patient's spine.

    Abstract: A reinforcing ring surrounding a semiconductor element connected electrically to respective interconnecting portions through electrodes is provided as one body through suspending portions. A film circuit is produced by forming a ring in place of an outer lead for instance by applying a lead frame forming technique in which a laminate of three layers or more is used as a base, an inner lead is formed on one side and an outer lead is formed by a surface layer on another side. In this manner, in a film circuit composed of an insulating film and a plurality of interconnecting portions (leads) electrically connecting between electrodes and other electronic components of a semiconductor element on at least one principal plane of the insulating film, it is made possible to align a ring surrounding a semiconductor element with respect to the semiconductor element only by placing the film circuit on the semiconductor element, and in its turn to reduce assembly mandays of a semiconductor device.

    Abstract: A ferroelectric capacitor and a method of manufacturing the same are provided for reducing a crystal grain size while maintaining excellent ferroelectric properties so as to achieve a reduction in device size. A lower electrode, a ferroelectric layer and an upper electrode are formed on a substrate. The ferroelectric layer is formed into a plurality of stacked layers including an oxide of a layered crystal structure (Bi.sub.x (Sr, Ca, Ba).sub.y (Ta, Nb).sub.2 O.sub.9 .+-..sub.d). Proportion `y` of (Sr, Ca, Ba) in at least one of the layers is different from those of the other layers. That is, a variation in proportion `y` of (Sr, Ca, Ba) is provided in the ferroelectric layer. As a result, excellent ferroelectric properties are obtained and the crystal grain size of the oxide is reduced.

The channels can be connected to a pressure gauge for determining the rate of flow and pressure of gas flowing in the gas flow channel.
