Abstract: A laser apparatus for monitoring the rails of a railway or tramway line, characterized by comprising at least two measurement units mounted on a railway or tramway carriage and operating at last on the inner part of the two rails, along with said carriage is made to advance, and a unit for processing the signals transmitted by said measurement units, each of which comprises at least one triangulation reading device.

Abstract: A device for collimating light emanating from a laser light source, including a laser light source with a plurality of substantially linear emission sources arranged next to each other in at least one row, and collimation means with a plurality of collimation elements which can collimate the light emanating from the emission sources in a direction (X) corresponding to the direction of the row. The device also includes a beam transformer which can respectively transform the light emanating from at least two emission sources in such a way that the light emanating from the at least two emission sources impinges precisely upon a collimation element and is collimated. The invention also relates to a beam transformer for one such device.

Abstract: The light-guiding apparatus has a light tunnel and an ellipsoidal reflector. Light emitted from the light tunnel is reflected and focused on a DMD chip by the ellipsoidal reflector. The light tunnel and a long axis of the ellipsoidal reflector form an angle. The angle and an eccentricity of the ellipsoidal reflector are used to modify the light emitted from the light tunnel. Thus, the light is made to match an incident angle and an effective dimension of a digital micro-mirror device receiving the light.

Abstract: An optical interference display panel is disclosed that has a substrate, an optical interference reflection structure, and a protection structure. The optical interference reflection structure has many color-changeable pixels and is formed on the substrate. The protection structure is adhered to the substrate with an adhesive and encloses the optical interference reflection structure between the substrate and the protection structure. The adhesive is used to hermetically isolate the optical interference reflection structure from water, dust and oxygen in the air. Moreover, the protection structure prevents the interference reflection structure from being damaged by an external force.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a table tennis table comprising a lower frame and two playing surface boards. Said lower frame comprises vertical struts which are used as carrier elements and are arranged opposite each other along the width of the table tennis table, in the central region of the same, and vertical guiding structure on which guiding elements pertaining to fixing units applied to the playing surface boards can be moved upwards and downwards, in such a way that the playing surface boars can thus be transferred from a first position, in which the playing surface boards are vertically oriented and the guiding elements are arranged in a lower position, to a second position, in which the playing surface boards are horizontally oriented and the guiding elements are arranged in an upper position, the guiding structure being embodied on the vertical struts used as carrier elements.

Abstract: A one-way valve assembly can be fitted to the end of a syringe to allow fluid to flow from the syringe and into a body cavity but to prevent backflow. The valve assembly is opened by insertion of the luer tip of the syringe into the assembly inlet. The valve has an internal elastic member that forms a variable volume internal chamber. This chamber expands upon insertion of the luer tip into the inlet and shrinks when the luer tip is removed from the assembly. The shrinking action creates a positive pressure in the valve assembly to prevent backflow.

Abstract: A manual input video game controller to be used with various video game machines for the purpose of controlling a game displayed upon a video monitor. The manual input video controller would include a plurality of digital action buttons along with a separate combination button allowing various combination maneuvers to be programmed into the video game controller in real time. The use of this combination button along with one of the input controllers would allow a particular stored combination of maneuvers to be implemented, without the loss of function of any of the digital action buttons.

The first half head is connected to the machine structure and rotates about a first axis. The second half head is coupled to the first half head on a flat surface and rotates about a second axis perpendicular to the flat surface. The rotation of the first and second half heads is achieved by a first and second direct motor, respectively.

Abstract: A coffee grinder-dispenser comprising a base, a grinder located within the base, an electric motor for operating the grinder, and a hopper, or cup, for receiving the coffee beans to be ground. A funnel is secured to the base, to receive the ground coffee, or powder via a distribution channel that extends in a horizontal plane. A grid, comprising spaced stainless steel rods, extending vertically and horizontally, is positioned in the entry hole or port of the funnel in alignment with the distribution conduit of the grinder-dispenser. The grid reduces the velocity of the ground coffee, or powder, so that the powder does not accumulate upon, or adhere to, the walls of the funnel. Consequently, when a lever on the base is operated, an accurate amount of ground coffee is discharged from the funnel into a conventional filter holder.

Abstract: The forearm support band with direct pressure monitoring provides the ability for patients to optimize treatment of medial or lateral epicondylitis (golfer's elbow or tennis elbow, respectively) with the use of optimal pressure application. Unlike previous forearm support bands, this band allows patients to directly read the pressure of application and appropriately adjust the band's tightness. This results in the correct amount of pressure to the forearm musculature, thereby minimizing risks and gaining optimal therapeutic benefits.

Abstract: A system for permitting offline content playback and for managing the rights to one or more digital content files within a computer network. The system manages these rights by encrypting the content files to prevent unauthorized access to the files. Encryption is accomplished by using one or more keys which are associated with one or more segments of the content file. These keys enable an authorized user to decrypt and playback the content files at a subsequent time. When the keys are received, a license which specifies the rights of the user regarding the content files, is obtained by the end user system, and verified locally to permit the content playback.

Abstract: An improved key for a dry wall block system is provided with a plurality of longitudinal flanges and a common web. The keys are adapted to engage with slots in the ends of building blocks to align and join the blocks and provide improved stability during the erection process.
