Abstract: A figurine simulating an invertedly suspended human, i.e. a bungee jumper, for suspended attachment to an automobile rear view mirror or other surface. The doll is provided with an elastic cord coupled to a suction cup and wrapped around the ankles of the figurine. Storage of excess cord is provided within an interior cavity of the figurine and such cord may be dispensed therefrom to change the suspended height of the doll. Alternate embodiments of the present invention include both a retracting assembly disposed within the interior cavity for retracting the excess cord through a rotation of the head of the figurine, and a label assembly coupled to the figurine for receiving and displaying cards having custom indicia thereon.
Abstract: An exercise apparatus for providing resistance to a motion of a user. The apparatus is provided with a bar having a pair of buoyancy chambers which causes the bar to float. A user may exercise by submersing the apparatus in a body of water against a buoyant force provided by the chambers. An anchoring system for both the user and the apparatus is provided to secure a position thereof in the body of water. In addition, the chambers may be inflated by a pressurized gas canister contained within the bar. The buoyancy chambers are retained between collars and circumferential journals on the bar. Pivotally openable clasps engage the journals. Cylindrical retainers are positioned over the clasps to prevent the clasps from opening, thus retaining the buoyancy chambers on the bar.
Abstract: The present invention comprises a gutter cleaning tool adapted to be hooked over the edge of a gutter and to direct a stream of water therein to dislodge leaves or other debris in the gutter towards and down the downspout of the gutter. In case of jamming of such debris in the downspout, a plunger is provided for pushing such debris down the downspout. The entire system is operable from the ground level eliminating the need for ladders or the like to reach the gutters.
Abstract: An elongated support including a first rod having a first threaded end and a second threaded end, a second rod having a first distal end, a second threaded end and a washer member coupled to the second rod at the second end, the first distal end forming an S-shape for releasably supporting a lantern, a nut member having threads on an external surface thereof, a lug member threadibly engaging the second end of the second rod adjacent to the washer member, and a cup member rotatably positioned intermediate the lug member and said disk for threadily engaging the bolt member.
Abstract: A knock-down camp stove unit adapted to go over an open campfire and providing its own support for a cooking-baking compartment which comprises a first angled side panel; a second angled side panel; means removably connecting the upper ends of said side panels together; a cooking panel insertable between and supported by said side panels; and a pair of tapered end-closure panels removably engaging with said side panels and said cooking panel to form an enclosed compartment therewith.
Abstract: An easily mountable and removable rack for carrying long items such as surfboards and the like on a vehicle. The inventive device includes a first main portion positionable between a window of the vehicle and an adjoining vehicle door panel. A second substantially U-shaped main portion is adjustably coupled to the first main portion and is operable to receive a load to support the same relative to the vehicle. Preferably, the device is utilized in pairs to support elongated objects along the length of the vehicle.
Abstract: Apparatus for pouring used fuel and other fluids into a large container comprising a funnel fabricated of a rigid material and having a lower extent of a cylindrical configuration with a small diameter and a limited height with external threads thereon, an upper extent of a cylindrical configuration with a large diameter and a limited height, and an intermediate extent of a frustroconical configuration extending between the upper extent and the lower extent, the upper and intermediate and lower extents having a common axis with the surface of the intermediate extent forming an angle of between about 20 and 40 degrees with respect to the axis.
Abstract: An interlocking screed level and method comprising a rectangularly-shaped screed section having a top surface, a bottom surface, a front surface, a back surface, and a first and second end. A rectangular preform extension member of a lesser dimension than the exterior boundary of the screed section extends axially from the first end of the screed section. A rectangular joint recess extends axially from the exterior of the second end of the screed section and has a depth commensurate with the length of the extension member with a boundary of minimally less than the extension member for receiving extension members of adjoining screed sections. A first lock component is located at the first end of the screed section and a second lock component is located at the second end of the screed section. A bottom surface for planing concrete surfaces is provided. A level gage is provided in the top surface for ensuring levelness of the concrete surface.
Abstract: A selectively variable window tinting system for limiting a passage of both visible light and radiative heat through an automobile window. Embodiments of the system include window glass assemblies which utilize photochromatic glass, electrochromatic glass, and a pair of spaced glass panes fillable with a tinted fluid. The latter embodiment also utilizes a plurality of differently tinted fluids which may be selectively injected between the glass panes to provide various amounts of tinting therein.
