  • Patent number: 7803060
Abstract: A putter club head is provided with an elongate cavity communicating to the exterior through a rectangular opening in the striking face thereof spaced above the club head lower surface that forms a lower shielding structure to deflect any growth in the course of a putting stroke. A conforming tubular segment is then mounted for rotation within the cavity to expose a portion of its peripheral surface beyond the plane of the striking face generally elevated above the bottom surface to a height corresponding to the elevation of the contact periphery of a golf ball resting thereon. In this manner little or no spin is imparted to the ball when struck by the roller since the lower club surface shields the roller from any moments imparted by the growth covering the green.

  • Patent number: 7302297
Abstract: Apparatus for inducing electrically charged alignment changes in biological tissue includes a generally flat translucent cavity containing a volume of gas that includes water vapor, carbon dioxide and other similarly common molecules that is charged along one surface by a sequence of pulses of electrical charge each of a potential sufficient to excite the common molecules to a higher state. The opposite side of the cavity is then conformed for intimate contact with the skin of a person, thus communicating the right hand spin electromagnetic pulses associated with each excitation level change into the tissue. A pulsed coil is then provided in an alignment generally parallel to the plane of the cavity to polarize the clockwise electromagnetic emissions associated with the changes in the excitation states.

  • Patent number: 7020630
Abstract: A securities trading system utilizes distributed data processing effected by a central processing station and a plurality of processing consoles all tied to a common network. The central station includes several computation sequences that can be used to compute the autocorrelation distribution function of any one security price to predict the probable price variation increment within a contract consummation interval, the cross correlation between various securities to determine any pattern of offsetting trades, and a reconciliation sequence to effect the securities transactions within the price variation increment. The autocorrelation and cross correlation sequences can be transferred for processing in one of the consoles, thereby allowing for a distributed processing arrangement of a plurality of securities patterns, and the computation results can be displayed on the console monitor that is interested in the particular security.

  • Patent number: 6876973
Abstract: A method useful with a computer network for providing a searchable data base of restaurants which can be accessed by prospective patrons, and once having obtained access the patron can then examine the listing and select the desired restaurant. Upon selection, the prospective patron exchanges with the restaurant data base an interactive information exchange in which the patron specifies the desired reservation date and time and the number of prospective guests. Upon receipt of this information a comparison is made between the seats desired and the number of seats estimated to be available at that time, and if the comparison matches then the requested reservation is confirmed. If there is no match, then an automated arithmetic process computes the next available time and submits that to the patron in the interactive process. In the course of the foregoing computation the process adopts a running average of occupancy intervals which is then used to estimate the next available time.
