  • Patent number: 8149069
Abstract: A low noise voltage-controlled oscillating circuit which can remove a power source noise to improve low frequency noise characteristics is disclosed. A capacitor C11 is provided between a base of a driving transistor Q1 and GND, whereby a low frequency noise input into the base can be removed. As the driving transistor Q1, a transistor having a low hFE is used, whereby the low frequency noise input from a power source can be removed. A coil L3 is provided on the emitter side of an oscillating transistor Q2, whereby broadband frequency characteristics can be obtained to improve phase noise frequency characteristics. On the emitter side of the oscillating transistor Q2, a resonance frequency in a resonant circuit having a capacitor C7 and the coil L3 is set near the center of a VCO oscillation frequency band, whereby it is possible to obtain the oscillation frequency which is not easily influenced by the noise.

  • Patent number: 8146289
Abstract: A single use, hermetically sealing mousetrap has a housing defining an enclosure that is accessible through a rotatably mounted door controlled by a spring-loaded door opening gear mechanism. Mounted to the bottom of the housing inside the enclosure is a spring-actuated setting axle/kill bar and setting bar combination that is movable between a kill position and a set position by manipulation of a setting handle positioned outside the enclosure. When the setting axle/kill bar is moved to the set position, the door opening gear mechanism causes the door to open while tensioning a torsional door spring. A trip latch and bait pedal are configured to operate together to secure the kill and setting bars in the set position, with subsequent movement of the bait pedal by a mouse serving to release the trip latch. When the trap is thereby triggered, the kill bar moves rapidly to the kill position while releasing the door opening gear mechanism. The tensioned door spring then closes the door.

  • Patent number: 8149758
Abstract: Disclosed is a wireless communication method for executing transmission and reception of a radio signal among communication terminals via a plurality of base stations connected to an IP (Internet Protocol) network. One of the base stations performs AD conversion on a radio signal received via an antenna from one of the communication terminals without demodulation, packetizes the AD-converted radio signal into packet data, and transmits the packet data to another base station over the IP network. The another base station performs DA conversion on the packet data received over the IP network from the one base station, transforms the DA-converted packet data into a radio signal without modulation, and transmits the radio signal to another base station via the antenna.

  • Patent number: 8142321
Abstract: A control drive, consisting of an electric motor and a planetary gear mechanism flush with the electric motor on the same axis of symmetry, comprising a ring gear, a planet carrier and three planet gears mounted on the planet carrier, the planet gears each having a front surface in the assembly direction in the area of their external teeth and the ring gear in the region of its internal teeth having three angle areas assigned to the planet gears of its end opposite the assembly direction in a defined angle position of the planet carrier to ring gear. The task of the present invention is to ensure that an economical and time-decoupled simple and rapid assembly of the three planet gears in the ring gear is possible without increasing the manufacturing expense on this account, in which only slight changes to existing forms are necessary.

  • Patent number: 8141289
Abstract: An improved Rail Adaptor System/Rail Accessory System (RAS) which attaches to a firearm. The rail is top opening, modular, and free floats the barrel. Provided is a rigid, lightweight, strong platform for mounting firearm accessories. Heat transmission from the barrel assembly to the user is limited. The user is also protected from ventilated gases originating from the operating system. A quick detachable top rail section is provided so that that gas system may be easily accessed. This removable top section of the rail is what makes this device unique because the RAS may be installed without removing the barrel, gas system, front sight base, flash hider or the barrel nut. The herein described RAS is adaptable to a wide variety of firearms with the use of conversion parts. The top rail “returns to zero” on reinstallation allowing the remounting of various optics and electronic gun sites without the need to realign them.
