  • Patent number: 8199414
Abstract: The present invention is a variable power zoom lens that is suitable to APS-format single-lens reflex cameras. The zoom lens has the foremost or first lens group G1 of positive refractivity, the second lens group G2 of negative refractivity, the third lens group G3 of positive refractivity, and the fourth lens group G4 of positive refractivity disposed in sequence from a position closer to the object toward the image plane, and it meets requirements as defined in conditional formulae as follows: 6<Lw/(Ft/Fw)<10 where Lw is the entire length of the lens optics (i.e., from the front surface of the foremost lens piece to the image plane) at the wide-angle end, Ft is a focal length of the lens optics in whole at the telephoto end, and Fw is the focal length of the lens optics in whole at the wide-angle end.

  • Patent number: 8198780
Abstract: A stator (10) for an electronically commutated DC motor with a number of stator poles (1) formed as individual parts, consisting of a pole core (25), pole shoes (26) and return sections (27), in which the return sections (27) of the stator poles (1) have intermeshing profiles, on which they lie against each other, so that the return sections form a hollow cylindrical return (35) with each other, in which the pole cores (25) connect to the return sections (27) directed radially inward. The individual stator poles are each provided with an insulation and a winding, and the wound stator poles (1) are held together by a retaining part that does not serve as motor housing. The task of the present invention is to provide a stator for an electrically commutated DC motor, which can be mounted simply and reliably, and which facilitates assembly of the stator in the motor housing.

  • Patent number: 8195755
Abstract: When a device is switched off, all messages for that device are stored in different distributed service centers. For example, the message from user A may be stored in SMSC A and a message from user B in SMSC B where both subscribers and respective SMSCs can even belong to different networks. When the device is switched on again it notifies its presence to the network (performed by the MSC indicating this to the HLR). As a result of this alert, different service centers that have messages pending for that device will be notified that the device has come on-line again (performed by the HLR notifying SMSC A and SMSC B). Instead of directly sending out all messages, as in the prior art, each service center instead schedules the messages in an internal queue for delivery according to a local control scheme, which achieves synchronized delivery from multiple distributed SMSCs even though there is no centralised control.

  • Patent number: 8196202
Abstract: A security system for a mobile network (1) has a gateway (3) for receiving messages from outside the network and a HLR (10) storing mobile terminal location information. The security system monitors in real time messages entering the network through the gateway (3), and decides according to said monitoring if messages are likely to be unsolicited. The system may block messages which are likely to be unsolicited. The system monitors a source address of a look-up request and a source address of a corresponding message, and decides that the message is likely to be unsolicited if its source address is different from that of the corresponding look-up request. The system further comprises a data store (5) and a timer (6), and stores look-up requests received from the gateway in the data store, and decides that a message is likely to be unsolicited if a corresponding look-up request has not been received within a pre-set time period.

  • Patent number: 8191364
Abstract: The present invention is intended to provide a technology that can utilize the advantages of both a load sensing control and a regeneration circuit without causing any problem. A regeneration circuit is added to a hydraulic circuit provided with a hydraulic pressure signal line for detecting a hydraulic pressure value of a circuit and controlling a volume of hydraulic fluid to a cylinder 1 with reference to the detected value. A pressure reducing valve 6 that outputs a reduced pressure as an operating signal to a pump 2, and subsequently the controlling means 5 causes the pressure reducing valve 6 to output a pressure reduction command to a pump 2 and thus to reduce a discharge rate from the pump 2, when the regeneration circuit is in a regeneration state.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for the pelletization of plastics and/or polymers, in which a melt coming from a melt generator is supplied via a diverter valve having different operating positions to a plurality of pelletizing heads through which the melt is pelletized. The plurality of pelletizing heads have different throughput capacities and are used sequentially for the start-up of the pelletizing process, with the melt first being supplied to a first pelletizing head having a smaller throughput capacity and then the melt volume flow being increased and the diverter valve being switched over such that the melt is diverted by the diverter valve to a second pelletizing head having a larger throughput capacity.
