Abstract: An on-the-go twist-on wire connector for enhancing the current carrying capacity of the electrical wires contained therein with the housing having a closed end and an open end with a wire engaging coil located in the closed end of the housing for bringing a plurality of wires into surface-to-surface contact to provide a direct surface-to-surface electrical path for flow of electrical energy therebetween. Located in the twist-on wire connector is a wire adhereable electrically conducting medium the adhereable electrical conducting medium is conformable around the plurality of wires as the plurality of wires are brought into surface-to-surface engagement with the conformable electrical conducting medium thereby forming an indirect current path between the ends of the plurality of wires while retaining the on-the-go ability of the twist-on wire connector to form the electrical connection solely through twisting action.

Abstract: An equipment tray of sheet metal having a base with a bottom section and a set of four sides integral to the bottom section with each of the four sides extending outward from the base to form a compartment therein and at least one of the sides having a beveled lip extending along a first portion of the side to provide stiffness to the base to avoid the “oil can effect” occurring with sheet metal trays. A further feature of the inventions is the inclusion of a cover retaining slot formed in the base by having a second portion of a side configured to coact with a beveled edge to form a cover retaining slot between the second portion of the side and the beveled edge to prevent lateral movement of the cover.

Abstract: A twist-on wire connector having a housing with a spiral tread for engaging and holding electrical wires in an electrical connection and a chamber for carrying a member having a wire passageway so that the electrical wires can be retained within the connector by a wire holder to inhibit strain therein and a method of making an electrical connection that inhibits strain of the wire by inserting a plurality of wires into a spiral thread of a twist-on wire connector, rotating the plurality of wires to bring the electrical wires into electrical connection with each other and squeezing a member around the plurality of wires to bring the member into frictional contact along a portion of the plurality of wires to axially restrain the plurality of wires and thereby inhibit strain on the plurality of wires held in the electrical connector.

Abstract: An actuator having a set of slidable pistons including sliding regions with the sliding regions including at least one wear member supported by a resilient member and a second wear member laterally spaced from the first wear member with a lubrication reservoir located therebetween for maintaining the wear members in lubricated sliding engagement with the cylindrical walls of the housing to limit the need to replace or repair the actuator. In order to provide ingress and egress of fluid from the chambers within the actuator a channel passage extends along the back side of the extension of the piston to permit quick venting of fluid therefrom.

Abstract: A three-point hitch faceplate having a set of skid steer receiver attachment points to permit an all-purpose agricultural tractor to operably connect to skid steer attachments so that the agricultural tractor can utilize off-the-shelf skid steer attachments.

Abstract: There is an apparatus for regulating air flow into a rim mounted pneumatic vehicle tire. The apparatus has an elongated valve housing 1? with an inlet end 1A?, an outlet end 2? and a central portion between the outlet and inlet. The outlet end includes a rim insertion portion 3? configured to fit into an aperture in the tire rim. There is a piston 8? disposed within the housing. The piston includes a valve member 19?. A coil spring 22? acts between the housing and piston so that in use of the apparatus the piston is biased to a open position for passage of air into the tire and is movable against the spring bias under air pressure build-up in the tire to a closed position at which the valve member seals against a valve seat. The piston and spring are located in the central portion of the housing clear of the rim insertion portion. The rim insertion portion is of a reduced size not obstructive to the mounting of the tire.

Abstract: A connector with a dip-molded housing and a method for forming a twist-on wire connector with a dip-molded housing. To dip-mold a covering or housing on a twist-on wire connector either a mandrel carrying a twist-on wire coil, a mandrel having the a shape of a spiral coil or a twist-on wire connector are dipped into a bath of an in situ solidfiable dip-moldable material such as liquid plastic. The dip-moldable solidified material solidifies to form a dip-molded shell on the wire connector.

Abstract: There is a lock for a bi-directional door, swing or sliding door 19. The lock includes at least two pins 6, 7 which are spaced apart a distance exceeding the thickness of the door. The pins are adapted for simultaneous arcuate motion about an axis located between said pins 6, 7 and longitudinal movement between withdrawn and protruding positions. When the lock is in a configuration of use and the pins 6, 7 are moved from the withdrawn positions to the protruding positions an edge of the door 19 when placed at a location offset from the axis is engaged by at least one of said pins 6, 7 so that the door is secured at a position substantially over the axis.

Abstract: There is a brake disc rotor having a central hub (1) co-axial with surrounding rings (2) which form brake bands (3) for engagement with brake pads. The rings (3) are supported in a spaced apart parallel configuration with channels (12) therebetween whereby in use of the rotor cooling air is drawn in through vent openings formed around the inner periphery of the rings (3) and then radially outwardly through the channels (12) as the rotor turns. The vent openings include inlet vent ports (7) on the outboard side of the rotor.

Abstract: A cartridge holder and a floating dispenser system for dispensing materials into a fluid with the floating dispenser system including a cartridge holder with receptacles for removably attaching or detaching at least two cartridge dispensers therein to allow one to simultaneously dispense materials into a fluid system by placing the floating dispensing system in a body of fluids and to replenish the system by merely removing and replacing a cartridge in the holder.

Abstract: A universal cartridge that is useable in either a stagnant fluid environment or in a moving fluid environment with the universal cartridge floatable in a stagnant fluid environment and securable in a moving fluid environment with the universal cartridge having an inner housing having a diffusion port and an outer sleeve having a diffusion port with the housing and the sleeve mateable engaged with each other through frictional engagement to inhibit flow therebetween while permitting rotational displacement of the housing with respect to the sleeve to allow one to increase or decrease a dispersant transport area between a zone within the housing to a zone exterior to the housing through aligning a recessed diffusion port of the housing with a diffusion port of the sleeve with the diffusion ports inhibiting fluid flow therethrough but permitting dispersant transfer therethrough.

Abstract: A dispenser system that takes high pressure fluid such as a high pressure water source and reduces the volume flow of the high pressure water as it flows into a dispenser with the dispenser having a low pressure outlet, which offers negligible fluid resistance in comparison to the inlet fluid resistance to the dispenser, thereby ensuring that if a dispenser cap is accidentally removed from the dispenser while the unit is in operation the water will not spray out into and onto the user. The dispensing system includes a removable cartridge carrier with adjustable openings and a dispenser housing that one can maintain a uniform flow pattern under different flow rates to provide for a predicable control of a dispersion rate from a dispersant located in the system and a method of predictably changing the dispersion rate of a dispersant.

Abstract: A weather cap for gas valve comprising a gas valve vent attachment member for securing to a gas valve vent outlet, a cover connected to the gas valve vent attachment member with the cover and the gas valve attachment member forming a housing having a chamber therein, a vent limiter located in the chamber, a first gas passage in the housing for permitting ingress and egress of gas into the chamber from a gas valve, and a second gas passage in the housing with the second gas passage opened to the atmosphere to permit venting of gas to the atmosphere with the second gas passage being located on an underside of the chamber to thereby shield the vent limiter from blockage by preventing rain or snow from entering the chamber.

Abstract: There is an electric motor driven drop bolt having a housing which in use is mounted into a doorway frame and has the bolt pivotal therein by a mechanical drive set in a cage disposed at an operative position. The bolt is pivotal between a locking configuration where the bolt extends outward of the housing to engage in an aperture associated with a door within the frame and an unlocked configuration where the bolt is withdrawn to clear the aperture. The mechanical drive includes a screw shaft rotatable by the electric motor to move a roller nut along the length of the shaft whilst engaging a cam surface on the bolt. To obtain fail safe operation of the drop bolt the cage is slidable in the housing from the operative position to a disengaged position so that the bolt is movable from the locking configuration to the unlocked configuration without operation of the mechanical drive.

Abstract: A dendrimer complex comprising a dendrimer and an antimicrobial agent with the dendrimer complex placeable directly into a fluid to inhibit growth of microbes or rid the fluid of microbes. In a further embodiment of the invention the dendrimer complex is secured to a carrier, which is placed in a body of fluid and allowed to dispense the antimicrobial agent into the fluid. Once the antimicrobial agent is dispensed, the dendrimer complex can be removed and recycled to add functional groups to the dendrimer so that the dendrimer can be reused.

Abstract: An open-face electrical wire connector for forming an electrical connection to a wire connector lug wherein the wire connector lug, which is free of any sealant, is located in a portion of a housing that can be brought into engagement with another portion of a housing, which carries a sealant, to cause the sealant to flow around the wire connector lug and the electrical connection therein for on-the-go formation of a sealant covered electrical connection.

Abstract: A furniture frame comprising a backrest section having a first side and a second side with the backrest section having at least one wheel rotatably secured to the backrest section and at least one backrest support member secured to the backrest section for supporting the backrest section on a support surface, a prop bar secured to the supporting member, a seat section connected to the backrest section with the seat section having a first side and a second side and including at least one seat support member for supporting the seat section on the support surface, and at least one catch member secured to one of the side of the backrest section with the catch member having at least one notch for engaging a portion of the prop bar therein for supporting the furniture frame in a couch condition.
