  • Patent number: 4408573
Abstract: System and method for a superheated-water injection system (SWIS). The system is designed to superheat water to temperatures exceeding 212.degree. F. (100.degree. C.) under conditions of pressure to prevent it from boiling for the purpose of injecting a timed and metered volume of such superheated water directly into the firing chamber of an internal combustion engine (whether spark-ignited, diesel, turbine or jet) to produce usable steam incremental to the work-force developed by such engine through combustion.

  • Patent number: 4332408
Abstract: Squeezed, the flexible cup of the device forms two convex lips which grip a soft contact lens in place on a human eye, deforms the lens, breaking its fluid suction-bond to the eye, allowing easy and gentle removal of the lens from the eye, without fingers touching the eye. The body of the device has a dished end with an elevated rim, an annular lumen and a depressed central segment, which end safely holds soft contact lenses by the variable suction of a flexible bulb, controllable by sliding the other end of the body into the lumen of the bulb. The lens is released by squeezing the bulb.

  • Patent number: 4235348
Abstract: Novelly improved drinking vessels of the type adapted for selective preferential or essentially mandatory usage by and while a user is in either a partially or fully reclined position. The vessels may be either of the handled cup-like type, or of the non-handled generally conventional drinking glass type, but which embody an integrally formed open-trough-like spout projecting laterally from one side of the vessels by which liquid is conveyed to a user. The spouts have uniquely and novelly-contoured lip or mouth engageable outward terminal edges and specially curved liquid-spill-resistant side walls of the spout to facilitate improved spill resistant complemental mating with a user's lips. The handled cup-like vessels are provided with the novelly improved spouts in variously disposed 90.degree., 180.degree., and 270.degree.
