  • Patent number: 4903934
Abstract: A wall attached base includes locking members rotatable into overlying relationship with the flanges of a tubular metal frame to confine same adjacent the wall surface. Appendages on the base receive a tool for imparting rotation to the base for moving of the locking members into and out of frame locking positions. Portions of the base frictionally engage the frame to prevent undesired rotation of the base. The frictional portions of the base are yieldable ears formed on the locking members or, in the modified form of the invention, surfaces on the appendages of the base adapted for frictional engagement with the frame. Wall marking pins are provided for temporary installation within each base to precisely mark the wall for installation of screw means.

  • Patent number: 4893447
Abstract: A cyclorama utilizing floor and ceiling coves of concavo-convex shape having side flanges receiving fasteners for assembly of the coves along a studio floor and ceiling. Recessed side marginal areas of the coves receive cementious material to provide an uninterrupted surface which conceals the joint area between abutting coves. The floor cove includes a lower edge of increased thickness to accommodate a fillet. Floor and ceiling corner coves are each curved along two axes for installation at the intersection of cyclorama wall components. The corner coves include converging side flanges for attachment to the side flanges of the floor and ceiling coves.

  • Patent number: 4887560
Abstract: A crankshaft carried crankpin carries an eccentric interposed between the crankpin and the slider of a yoke type engine. The eccentric carries a gear to permit rotatable adjustment to be imparted to the eccentric about the crankpin axis. Positioning of the eccentric includes the use of a gear train. A gear set in the gear train has displaceable gears carried by a carrier responsive to engine control means. The movable gear set serves to accelerate or decelerate the rotational speed of a pair of shaft mounted driven gears to momentarily alter their rotational speed so as to in turn rotate the eccentric mounted gear to reorientate the eccentric to the crankpin. Such relocating of the eccentric serves to alter the piston stroke between high and low compression ranges.

  • Patent number: 4874357
Abstract: The apparatus includes a powered bowl assembly having a tubular shaft journalled within a base of the apparatus. A pressurized air flow is discharged into slurry in the bowl assembly via a circular array of bubble generators. An impellor discharges the slurry outwardly against an upwardly inclined annular surface of the bowl assembly to cause the slurry to merge upwardly with the streams to promote flotation. Slurry within the bowl assembly forms a vortex with particle flotation forming a froth layer inwardly of a slurry vortex. The froth exits the bowl assembly upwardly past a barrier partially closing the bowl assembly. Heavier gangue particles exit via an outlet about the bowl assembly periphery. A collector shroud is partitioned to receive the froth and the heavier waste material. A modified form of the apparatus includes an independently powered bowl assembly and impellor.
