Abstract: A network of fixed RF transmitter modules, an RF repeater module and an RF collector module are located within a multi-unit facility for collecting water usage data from a plurality of water meters associated with the units within the facility and for uploading to a central billing center. Each water meter is coupled to a single RF transmitter module. Each RF transmitter module reads the water meter multiple times per day and transmits the data over a 418 MHZ carrier. One of a plurality of transceivers coupled to the RF repeater module receives the data and directs it to a storage medium in the RF repeater module. The RF repeater module temporarily holds the data and then repeats it on the RF carrier. The RF collector module receives the data through a transceiver coupled thereto. The data is stored in a storage medium of the RF collector module for retrieval by the central billing center.

Abstract: A pair of high speed blowers are pivotally mounted in a vertical plane on a movable frame structure. Each blower has blades turning in an opposite direction from the other blower. The blowers are locked in place at an angle of 10 to 60 degrees with respect to each other so that air emanating from the blowers impinge on each other downstream from the blowers. The air impingement creates a triangular type expanding air stream pattern downstream from the impingement area.
Abstract: A pneumatic nebulizer that produces a high volume of aerosols for inhalent delivery of medications and other constituencies. High pressure gas formed into a gas jet is passed through a thin choked region of fluid that is entrailed and impinged upon an aerosol amplifier which creates a spray whose aerosol components are directed up through vents to an aerosol outlet for delivery. Larger-sized liquid particles are caused to pool up in a region surrounding the aerosol amplifer and then drip down back into the liquid medication reservoir.
Abstract: Multiple upright adjacent posts spaced apart are each pivotably mounted on a first base plate affixed along an edge of a precipice. The posts have bores through opposed sides and L-shaped brackets mounted on at least one side surface. A triangular brace has a second base plate spaced inwardly from the post. Two arms converging inwardly distal from the second base plate connect ends of the second base plate to the post. The arms pivot with respect to the second base plate. Ropes are threaded through the bores or 2×4's are mounted on the L-brackets or mesh is hung on the L-brackets to create a barrier between the spaced apart posts.
Abstract: An apparatus for subjecting articles of manufacture to a cryogenic thermal cycling process includes a bottom portion and a lid. The bottom portion comprises an outer and inner tank separated by a plurality of insulation layers. The inner tank defines an inner cavity wherein the articles are subjected to the cryogenic process. A thermal break is provided between the lid and bottom portion so that the temperature of the inner cavity does not conduct to the outer tank of the apparatus bottom portion. The process conducted in the apparatus is controlled by a pre-programmed profile inputted by a key controller or PC. Liquid nitrogen is the preferred cryogenic material to be employed. The novel process subjects the article to extreme negative temperatures thereafter cycling the article between a set of negative temperatures for a number of cycles. The process is completed by heating the article to an extreme positive temperature and then allowed to cool to ambient room temperature.
Abstract: A transom bracket enclosing a hydraulic power cylinder is mounted to the transom of a watercraft. An actuation rod of the power cylinder moves multiple lift arms connected to a platform bracket supporting a platform for supporting a small auxiliary watercraft. Electrical or manual operation of the power cylinder causes the platform bracket to move in a vertical direction either upwards out of the water or downwards into the water. A lock mechanism operated by a lock cylinder locks the lift apparatus in place when not in operation. Grooves on sides of the transom bracket and transversely extended pins connecting the linkage arms provide a downward stop to movement of the lift apparatus.
Abstract: The nozzle (10) has at least one pair of openings (18, 20) located on its front face (28) along a common axis (32). Each opening (18, 20) is spaced apart (26) from and angled towards its pair mate. A non-atomized solid liquid stream (14, 16) is directed through each circular opening (18, 20) by a pressurized source. The two streams (14, 16) from each pair of openings (18, 20) meet at a spaced apart point in front of the nozzle face (28) to create a flat triangular pattern of liquid (24).
