Abstract: A mechanical warning flag system for a water ski boat. A first plate is coupled for rotation underneath the rope pylon. A second plate is coupled to the first plate and includes a vertical portion with an arcuate opening. A lever plate is pivotally coupled to the vertical portion of the second plate and includes a lever arm that receives one end of a bias spring and travels in the arcuate opening. The lever plate includes a pair of rope holders through which the tow rope is threaded. One rope holder is part of the pivotal connection, and the other is located on a distal portion of the lever plate. Since the lever arm is located between the rope holders, tension applied to the tow rope forces the lever plate downward thereby lowering the warning flag. In the absence of rope tension, a bias spring urges the lever plate upward to raise the warning flag.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a floating massage pad structure having several messaging protrusions which normally float under to facilitate the rubbing and message made by the massage pad structure, comprising a flexible pad, a plurality of floating chambers in some portions within the surface that provide a plurality of mushroom-shaped massage protrusions; an opposing member disposed below the massage protrusion; a pair of repulsive magnetic members respectively disposed on the massage protrusion and the corresponding opposing member, such that the repulsion of the magnetic members makes the massage protrusions float under normal conditions, giving a sense of touching our skin before the massage, providing a multi-directional massage during the massage, and having a caressing effect after the massage.
Abstract: A foldable wheelchair ramp is disclosed having a mountable base, a first ramp section and a second ramp section. In an extended configuration, the first and second ramp sections form a single, continuous ramp for facilitating wheelchair access to vehicles. For convenient storage, the first and second ramp sections fold with respect to each other and preferably retract into the vehicle floor such that, in the folded configuration, the top surface of the second ramp section lies substantially in the same plane as the vehicle floor. A linking assembly is provided to facilitate and control the folding of the ramp sections. For safety purposes, the ramp also includes a lid that covers the gaps between the ramp and the vehicle floor when the ramp is in an extended position.
Abstract: A stereoscopic media player is implemented by a software application loaded onto a PC having a DVD player and a video monitor interconnected therewith. The software application includes program instructions for mapping stereoscopic images stored in a side-by-side format on the DVD into an above-and-below format for display on the monitor.
Abstract: An electric heat sealer including a casing having a first pair of extensions extending outwardly therefrom, a press bar pivotally connected to said casing, the press bar having a second pair of extensions extending outwardly therefrom, at least one sealing mechanism mounted in the press bar or the casing and a source of current for energizing the heating wire. The press bar is normally biased above the casing and the at least one sealing mechanism includes a heating wire.
Abstract: A neutralizing sheet for an autostereoscopic image viewing system. The image viewing system includes a lenticular sheet covering a display screen. The neutralizing sheet including a pliable portion and is movable between a first position and a second position. The pliable portion has a refractive index similar to the lenticular sheet. When pressed into the lenticular sheet to define the first position, the pliable portion deforms to assume the shape of the lenticular sheet. Thus, refraction through the lenticular sheet is neutralized and viewing of planar images is enabled. In the second position, the neutralizing sheet is separated from the lenticular sheet and viewing of stereoscopic images is enabled.

Abstract: A bicycle fork crown cover including an upper cover and a lower cover connected to the upper cover. The upper cover defines at lease one setting aperture and the lower cover includes at least one flexible setting post dimensioned to engage with the setting aperture, and wherein the lower cover is connected to the upper cover by engaging the flexible setting post with the setting aperture.
Abstract: Self relieving seals of this invention comprise an elastomeric seal body having a first sealing surface and a second sealing surface for contact with respective drill bit sealing surfaces. The seal includes a pair of external surfaces that each extend along the seal body between the first and second sealing surfaces. The seal includes one or more relief ports that are disposed through the seal body and that have openings through each of the seal body external surfaces. The relief port can be specially configured, e.g., have different diameter sections of constant or variable dimensions, to provide a degree of control over pressure equalization through the seal body when the seal is loaded within the drill bit. The seal may include an element, e.g., solid, tubular, or porous, disposed within the relief port to provide a further desired degree of control over pressure equalization through the seal when the seal is loaded within the drill bit.

Abstract: A system and method of screening films. The method includes the first step of displaying a movie print with multiple soundtracks on a display screen. A plurality of screening rooms, each with a view of the display screen, is provided. Separate audio signals from each soundtrack is generated and one or more of the audio signals is transmitted to one or more of the screening rooms. A system for screening films includes a display; a plurality of screening rooms, wherein each screening room includes a view of the display; a movie playback system; and, a sound distribution system coupled to receive audio signals from the movie playback system and to distribute the audio signals to the plurality of screening rooms.

Abstract: A clutch-driven limited force actuator is disclosed having a motor, a planetary gear mechanism in operative communication with the motor and a clutch plate. The clutch plate includes a contact surface selectively in frictional contact with the planetary gear mechanism to drive an actuator arm. In operation, the frictional force between the planetary gear mechanism and the clutch plate causes the actuator arm to actuate. The actuator arm can be connected to any element that requires actuation. The actuator of the present invention is preferably used in a wheelchair lift to actuate any mechanism that must have a safe limit on the amount of force applied to obstacles and that must have provision for direct manual operation.
Abstract: A photo album is disclosed having a cover, a fastener threaded through the cover, and a reinforcement member positioned between the fastener and the cover. The reinforcement member is preferably made of plastic, and more preferably made of rigid plastic.
