Abstract: A universal, direct drive fan coupling designed to attach a radiator cooling fan to a water pump of an internal combustion engine for an automobile or like vehicle wherein the subject coupling is specifically designed to efficiently replace the fan idling clutch present in many relatively current models of American made automobiles, or like vehicles. The inherent versatility of the subject direct drive coupling enables the elimination of any clutch mechanism normally found in the aforementioned automobile type which is positioned between the rotating shaft associated with the conventional cooling fan and a subsequently positioned and driven component of the circulation system such as the water pump.

Abstract: A portable, disposable irrigation assembly of the type used to flush fecal matter from the intestine when normal bodily functions are not sufficient to accomplish evacuation of the intestine. Irrigation of the intestine by irrigating fluid is provided by directing the irrigating fluid from a storage reservoir through an elongated conduit into the intestine by an introduction cone or like structure. The creation of peristaltic action is indicative of sufficient quantity of irrigating fluid being introduced wherein such peristaltic action is sufficient to accomplish evacuation of the fecal matter. An indicator element is disposed withn the flow path and along a path of liquid flow of the irrigating fluid and is specifically structured to flow in the same direction as the irrigating fluid from the reservoir to the intestine and in a reverse direction, from the intestine back through the conduit when peristaltic action is sufficient.

Abstract: A computer harness adaptive tester for testing pins, wires, voltage and continuity in circuits between electronically controlled devices and an electronic control module; the devices are interconnected to the module by an electrical harness composed of a plurality of discrete insulated wires; the tester is composed of a coupler adapted to be interconnected electrically between one end of the harness and the electronic control module through a pair of jumper cables; and the coupler is connected through a secondary harness to a remote pin-out box where testing can be conveniently conducted.

Abstract: A training assembly used to teach football players, primarily offensive and defensive interior, down linemen the proper technique and body orientation when moving from an initial, set position into a blocking position. The assembly includes a frame structure fixedly or removably mounted to extend upwardly from a supporting surface over which the player travels wherein the frame structure is particularly configured to define a channel dimensioned to allow the head and worn helmet of a player to pass therealong. Restraining elements define the longitudinal perimeters of the channel and serve as shoulder restraints to prevent the vertical upright orientation of the player as he positions himself from the aforementioned set position into the blocking position.

Abstract: A butt structure of the type used in combination with fishing rods and substantially large fishing reels used for heavy duty deep sea sport fishing and the like which is specifically designed and adapted for both removable and adjustable connection and support of a reel seat tube. The reel seat tube is structured for removable support of a fishing reel and secure fixed engagement to a fishing rod such that when the entire assembly is stored, the fishing reel remains secured to the fishing rod thereby allowing for the rigging attached to both the reel and the rod to remain in place while the butt structure may be removed or specifically positioned in an out-of-the-way orientation.

Abstract: An artificial arm capable of being used as a prosthesis on a human body and controlled through activating sensors secured to the human body adjacent the attachment site of the artificial arm and operating a plurality of drive motors. Three independent drive motors are mounted between foundation bases including an upper arm base, forearm base and hand base wherein the latter two move relative to one another and to the forearm base and each of the three drive motors are positioned and structured to cause relative movement of one foundation base relative to the other, thereby adding strength and simplicity to an artificial arm structure having a high degree of versatility and range of movements.

Abstract: A musical instrument of the flute type having a body with the conventional elongated configuration and a hollow interior extending along the length of the body wherein the body is formed of a main body portion, foot portion and head portion, which, depending upon the embodiment of the subject invention, may be permanently secured to one another or removable from another and further wherein the material from which the body, including each of the aforementioned portions is formed is a light transmitting material.

Abstract: Surgical instrumentation in the form of a clamp assembly specifically structured to position and maintain sections of blood vessels, including both veins and arteries, in a preferred surgical orientation such that open ends of the vessel sections are substantially adjacently positioned relative to one another and properly exposed and oriented so that such section ends may be sutured or otherwise secured together. The clamp assembly is structured such that vessel sections to be attached are adjustably positionable so that placement of the section ends may be adjusted and changed to insure proper relative positioning to one another in a preferred exposed position for attachment.

Abstract: A system for heating and cooling external roof and wall surfaces of existing building structures incorporated in supplementary building construction to be added to the roof and/or external walls of an existing building structure wherein the supplementary construction added to the building structure serves to selectively create air flow over external surfaces of the building or alternately trap air in a substantially closed air space chamber wherein it is subjected to heat absorption from an external panel or structure exposed to the sun's radiant energy. The construction of the present invention is specifically structured and configured to take advantage of naturally occurring pheonomenon such as solar radiation, movement of air currents through convection and the capturing of naturally forced air such as wind.

Abstract: A handicap turn signal bar is adapted to be mounted on an automobile's steering column. The steering column has a vertically actuated turn signal lever horizontally positioned and extending generally radially from the steering column. The handicap turn signal bar includes an elongated lever member substantially parallel to the turn signal lever. The member is pivotally mounted at the bottom of the steering column and one longitudinal end of the member is proximate a portion of the steering wheel. The other longitudinal end of the member is disposed in the vertical plane movement of the turn signal lever. A split clamp is attached to that other end of the member and is removably attached to the turn signal lever. The split clamp includes first and second mating parts which define a varied dimensional through-hole adapted to loosely encircle the turn signal lever.

Abstract: A food storage container, such as for a type of fruit or vegetable, with an upwardly facing mouth with a removable cover for charging food into the container; the container is composed of a plurality of interconnected panels, a floor panel, front, rear and opposing side panels which are of transparent material to display the food while stored in the container; it is further provided with an opening above a stop lip in the front wall panel adjacent the bottom which opening is sized for passage of a person's hand to remove a piece of the displayed food from a horizontal floor portion at the mouth which floor portion merges and blends with an inclined floor portion extending from the horizontal portion rearwardly and upwardly between the side walls so that another piece of food moves under the influence of gravity onto the horizontal floor portion at the mouth whenever a piece has been removed from the container.

Abstract: A spectator seat for optional use either in one mode of assembly as a carrying case for transporting articles to and from a stadium event or the like, such as a parade, or in another mode of assembly as a seat for attachment over a space on a conventional flat backless bench seat and wherein the spectator seat is composed of a seat member of open shell form with hooks extending downwardly from it which are sized and configured for hooked-up engagement with the front portion of a flat bench-type stadium seat, a mating one-piece back member of open shell form and wherein the backrest and seat member are adapted for telescopic interconnection of the backrest member in upstanding relation to the seat member and wherein the device includes orienting surfaces for the two members relative to one another as a carrying case and a locking means to lock the two members into a shell defining relation for use in transporting articles to and from an event.

Abstract: A compass assembly including a compass mechanism mounted in supported relation on a base and covered by a transparent material shield wherein the assembly is specifically structured to be mounted on a handle element itself being a part of a support structure on the interior of an automobile type vehicle. The compass assembly is also structured so as to be movable with the handle element or like element on which it is mounted and at the same time viewable by an occupant of the vehicle to inform such occupant of the direction of travel of the vehicle.

Abstract: A container designed for the containment and storage of a plurality of tennis balls defining a package for retail sale thereof specifically structured to be convertible, after removal of the tennis balls, into a vessel for the storage and drinking of a liquid in a thermally insulated storage space. A cylindrical housing having the appearance of a conventional tennis ball package container surrounds and is spaced from an internal sleeve defining a storage space on the interior thereof wherein a closure assembly is provided to initally hermetically seal a plurality of tennis balls within the storage space and after removal, the closure assembly is further structured to provide fluid communication with liquids maintained within the storage space for drinking thereof.

Abstract: A display sign having a plurality of display faces removably supported on the upper end of an elongated standard wherein the lower end thereof is secured to a base which is at least partially burried beneath a supporting ground surface such that the sign assembly is maintained in an upright orientation. The standard is of a predetermined length such that the display faces are spaced above the supporting ground surface at least a minimum distance and further where each of the display faces are separated into a first display zone adapted to have printed media such as street names thereon and a second display zone adapted to have printed and pictorial advertising media displayed thereon.

Abstract: An air conditioning assembly for maintaining a preferred temperature range within the interior of a building structure such as a commercial, industrial or office facility wherein such temperature maintenance becomes efficient and cost effective based in part on the return and supply of previously conditioned air from the interior of the building structure to an intake of the air conditioning assembly. The air taken from the interior of the building is selectively chosen from a first zone where warmer air is collected depending upon whether the air conditioning assembly is in a heating or cooling mode. The subject process thereby reduces the amount of energy wasted in previously heating or cooling the conditioned air supplied to the building interior.

Abstract: A disposable packaging and dispensing container preferably formed from a plastic or like moldable material having a hollow interior portion for the storage of liquid material wherein the interior is defined by boundary walls including a base, front, rear, and opposite side walls and an integrally formed top covering panel as well as a gripping handle defining the top end of the container for lifting and handling thereof. The container is preferably formed from an integral, one-piece molded construction so as to be readily disposable after use. A dispensing spout is removably retained within a storage channel integrally formed in recessed relation about the exterior peripheral surface of the container in a non-obstructing location wherein the length of the spout is sufficient to allow dispensing of the liquid material from the interior of the container without tilting or angular orientation of the container.

Abstract: The present invention is directed towards a stringed musical instrument of the type commonly known as a bass but particularly structured to have a reduced and variable overall dimension so as to facilitate transporting of the instrument and allow expansion of certain effective dimensions thereof such as the height (length) and width of the instrument to facilitate playing of the instrument in conventional positions such as standing and/or sitting and using conventional techniques.
