    Abstract: The present invention provides a mobile communications system in which the home exchange of a mobile subscriber maintains information indicative of where the mobile subscriber might be found, Upon receipt of a call, the home exchange requests the exchange where the mobile is believed to be located to page it and then requests the answering exchange(s) to order the mobile to tune to a voice/traffic channel. Only after the successful completion of this process does the answering exchange report this to the home exchange which then orders routing of the call through the network.

    Abstract: Device for printing endorsements on documents passing through a document processing apparatus. The device comprises a rotatable outer housing having a cylindrically shaped exterior surface and a ring gear having a toothed first part and a toothless second part. A stamp for printing endorsements and at least one band having digits or characters thereon form a substantially continuos surface with the exterior surface of the outer housing. When the endorsing device is rotated by a pinion meshing with the ring gear, the digits or characters, as well as the stamp, contact a document passing through the document processing apparatus. During the rotation of the outer housing, further rotation is prevented by an arm which engages a projection on the outer housing and biasing means which biases the arm into locked engagement with the projection. When the arm engages the projection, the pinion is unable to rotate the outer housing as the toothless part of the ring gear is now facing the pinion.

    Abstract: A measurement tool adapted for measuring surfaces of a known desired curvature and specifically grooves, holes, chips, gouges, chafing and/or out of round areas therein. The measurement device is constructed with an attachment member having a curvature matching the "set up" curvature of the part to be measured. The measuring member or probe, is sharpened to permit it to extend through an aperture formed in the attachment member for facilitating its initial setting relative to the attachment member and the surface to be measured. Any movement of the probe during measurement is then a manifestation of a deviation from the original "set up" curvature.

    Abstract: An improved, integrally molded table soccer playing figure has an elongated body with head and foot portions disposed at its opposite ends. A cylindrical passage axially extends laterally through an upper portion of the body and is adapted to coaxially receive a longitudinal portion of an actuating rod used to rotate and translate the playing figure. To significantly reduce the connection stress concentration on the rod and the playing figure mounted thereon, the body passage is diametrically sized to create a press-fit between the body portion and the rod portion therein, and the body is mechanically locked to the rod by a small roll pin longitudinally inserted through aligned openings in the body and rod. The ability of the body portion to withstand high lateral impact loads is enhanced by the integral formation on its opposite lateral sides of relatively large diameter force receiving and diffusing washer portions.
