  • Patent number: 5725721
Abstract: A mechanism of a band attaching device of a case sealing machine for preventing the band from falling down. A fourth band guiding wheel is disposed under the band stopper boards and movable on the front band pressing wheel support. When the fourth band guiding wheel is positioned at a lowest position, the front edge of the outer surface of the fourth band guiding wheel intersects the band stopper boards and the band is forced to move downward and linearly contact with the band stopper boards on the adhesive face. At this time, the band is urged to forward project into an arch state so as to enhance the upright standing ability of the band without falling down.

  • Patent number: 5726631
Abstract: A kick-activated wearable alarm for infants is provided that includes three temperature sensors and a main controller unit installed in a belt pack. The belt pack is directly worn around the abdominal section of an infant and operates in conjunction with an external receiver, whereby the disclosed structure offers total kicking and fever sensing performance. The belt pack is installed around the abdominal section of an infant with two of the three sensors respectively placed in an exposed state at the anterior and posterior aspects of the abdominal section and the other sensor being placed inside the clothing of the infant. Whether the infant kicks while asleep or awake, or when a fever develops that raises body temperature, the three temperature sensors are connected to a conductor interfaced to the main controller unit. The main controller unit transfers the sensed signal to an external receiver, which emits of an audible alarm.

  • Patent number: 5725638
Abstract: A modular dust collection plate assembly (10) for use in an electrostatic precipitator is provided. The dust collection plate assembly (10) includes at least one panel member (100) and at least one waveform member (200) releasably coupled together. The panel member (100) is characterized by a substantially planar contour, having first and second faces on opposing sides thereof which are commonly bounded laterally by a pair of lateral edge portions (110, 110) extending in a longitudinal direction. The waveform member (200) also extends in the longitudinal direction and is characterized by a predetermined curvilinear cross-sectional contour that enables the waveform member (200) to disrupt at least a portion of the gaseous flow that would pass across it during operation in an electrostatic precipitator.

  • Patent number: 5722858
Abstract: A prong structure of a plug is made from a rectangular unfolded strip which decreases waste material to a minimum during manufacture. The prong is formed by doubling over the rectangular strip with a lateral base portion formed at the bottom of both sides thereof. One wing of the lateral base portion of the prong is a lateral tie segment with a clip formed at the end, in which the clip is folded to form a U-shaped groove along the short side of the rectangular strip, for fixing a cord therein by closing the groove from both sides. The other wing of the lateral base portion of the prong is a lateral supporting lug, in which a tongue shaped assistant lug is punched out at the root, so that is can be bent to the clip side to fill the space left by a folded portion of the clipping lug to form a stable supporting base.
