    Abstract: A hair clip including an upper clip portion and a lower clip portion pivotally connected at a their ends at a suitable position. These clip portions are elongate and curved structures. The upper clip portion is provided with a tongue-like recess at an upper side thereof with a plurality of projections extending downwardly along a center-line of the upper clip portion. The lower clip portion has a downwardly extending projection at a front end such that the hair clip will not scratch or hurt the head of the wearer. The lower clip portion is provided with an array of alternately projecting portions at either lateral side for matching the projections of the upper clip portion. By means of a torsion spring disposed at one end of the hair clip, the upper and lower clip portions may grip the hair of the wearer with a suitable force. The upper and the lower clip portions are pivotally joined by a couple of symmetrical pivotal portions.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing resin articles with naturally formed patterns is provided. The method uses organic matter, such as portions of a fern like the "Sphaeropteris lepifera", and a resin, to be molded together and then machined into a desired shape. The inner surfaces of the upper mold section and the lower mold section are covered by aluminum foil sheets and enclose a portion of a fern, such as the "Sphaeropteris lepifera" therein. A resin is injected into the mold through an opening in one foil sheet and the mold is heated to an appropriate temperature. Subsequently, the mold is cooled by room temperature air and dried by a drying machine. The resin is removed from the mold and machined into a particular shape in accordance with a predetermined design. The shaped molded resin is smoothed by grinding or filling in uneven portions with resin. After smoothing, the molded resin is polished to provide a naturally-formed pattern on the surface thereof.

The sorting device includes a channel with circulated water flow, whereby the mixture of the rubber and nylon fibers float on the water, while the steel filaments precipitate onto the bottom of the channel to be separately recovered.

The liquefaction is carried out within a converter having a rotating screw for displacing the oil soaked waste therethrough during a time period approximating 30 minutes. The waste within the converter is maintained at a temperature within the approximating range of 200.degree.-370.degree. C.
