Abstract: The invention provides a method of controlling the spatial distribution, shape and size of films of conjugated organic molecules that can be used to grow single layers of organic molecules on silicon oxide nanostructures. The silicon oxide nanostructures are produced using an anodic oxidation process. The organisation of the molecules on the oxide nanostructures is dependent on the kinetic parameters of the latter (evaporation rate, diffusion coefficient) and on the interactions with the silicon (anodic) oxide regions. The molecules form domains which exactly reproduce the lateral size and the shape of the oxide nanostructures. The invention provides a powerful method of performing a bottom-up construction of wires, electrodes and charge transfer zones in nanoscale devices.
Abstract: The invention relates to surfactant-free reagent spheres useful for biological tests particularly those involving antigen/antibody reactions.
Abstract: This permits the transmission of signals over the electricity network in such a way that the spectral density of power is adjusted to the regulations in the current rules by means of the possibility of introducing notches in transmission in an efficient manner. It is characterised by the adjustment of the power in one or more carriers of an OFDM signal for generating these notches, through the use of IDFTs of at least 1024 points (if the IDFT is complex) or at least 2048 points (if the IDFT is real) and through the use of a window to multiply the symbols to be transmitted in time.

Abstract: The invention relates to an electrical substation. The inventive substation is characterised in that it consists of a special ring-type electrical configuration, known as a network ring, comprising SF6-insulated armoured modules M by way of a high-voltage switchgear. According to the invention, the modules are disposed such as to form longitudinally-linked squares, with a segregated phase arrangement. Owing to the ring configuration A, the use of armoured modules M and the segregated phase arrangement, it is possible to produce standardised base elements which are tested before being moved to the site of the substation in order to be connected to other elements and/or existing equipment with the same configuration or another standard configuration. In this way, a substation can be mounted and enlarged without the need for discharges or service interruptions and with a minimum loss of time in terms of mounting, repair and enlarging operations.
