Abstract: A therapeutic device includes a supporting member that continuously and flexibly supports and bounds a plurality of small sized hard surfaced force members that support a user's foot during movement without clumping. The force members are slidable relative to each other and require no additional lubrication although dry or non-tacky liquid lubrication may be added. The support member is positioned on a support surface of a shoe sole and a shoe is constructed including the same. Alternative designs include structural members or positioning stitches relative to the supporting member minimizing undesirable movement of force members during use.

Abstract: The present electric horn system includes a monolithic rigid housing member having a receiving opening for fixably housing, in an non-removable and secure manner following assembly, a compressor member, thereby preventing unintended separation and improving a reliability of the electric horn system. An acoustic sound wave generator includes an acoustic duct chambering system associated throughout with the monolithic rigid housing member. The acoustic sound wave generator receives compressed air from the compressor member to produce sound and propagate the same externally. A horn mounting system enables ready attachment of the system to a consumer-desired surface; either mechanically, magnetically, adhesively or via any other known attachment or mounting system. Optional weather and water resistant systems prohibit unintended water access to the electric horn system enabling use of the system in exposed weather conditions for improved user convenience.

Abstract: A kit for a portable assembly bed includes an operable carry bag having retaining elements disposed on the inside of the bag with bed construction removably retained by the retaining elements. The kits provide co-operable construction components including reinforced discs and tubular frame members for an assembled double-decker bed or two single beds, and at lease one foldable foot locker and an accessories pouch. The portable construction when assembled provides a complete double-decker cot with storage.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing footwear. More specifically, the present invention relates to a construction method wherein a first front portion of a shoe is manufactured by a first method and a second rear portion of the shoe is manufactured by a second different adhesive gluing method. The present invention provides a novel incorporation differing shoe construction methods to overcome substantial manufacturing detriments while retaining the ability of the shoe construction to respond to fashion or appearance type needs.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a personal use assistive breathing device wherein a can adaptor or bottle mounting member is secured to a bottle canister containing a pressurized gas. A mouth piece member retains an action knob positioned for actuating a stem valve on the bottle canister upon a rotation. During use the action knob is spaced away from the mouthpiece and air passages entrain ambient atmospheric air with the escaping pressurized gas. The action knob may be retained in the in-use position without continual pressure allowing hands-free use. During storage, the action knob is spaced in contact with the mouthpiece prohibiting unintended gas release and enabling ready handling without risk of gas-loss.

Abstract: A height-adjustable docking buffer is described for protecting facades when vehicles are docked in building openings. The docking buffer is made up of a fixed mounting frame and a height-adjustable buffer block for a loading ramp or a transfer bridge. The buffer block is designed as an essentially horizontal bumper bar, and includes an inflatable gasket, the ends of which are height-adjustably supported on two spaced, fixed mounting frames, preferably in the form of pillars. A method for operating the docking bar is also disclosed.

Abstract: Proposed is a power semiconductor module with a housing and one or a plurality of half-bridge circuitries arranged therein. Each half-bridge circuitry has a first (TOP) and a second (BOT) power switch and each switch is comprised of one power transistor and a corresponding power diode (recovery diode). The power semiconductor module furthermore has a positive polarity direct current lead and a negative polarity direct current lead. Per each half-bridge circuitry it furthermore has two alternate current leads that are not directly connected electrically. Each TOP transistor is connected to the power diode of the BOT switch and a first alternate current lead and each BOT transistor is connected to the power diode of the TOP switch and a second alternate current lead.
