  • Patent number: 5757807
Abstract: This invention relates to methods and apparatus for extracting data of a channel from and for inserting low speed input data into a channel of time division bit multiplex. An optical data transmission system is used for distribution of video signals or information services. A variable frequency divider generates a timing signal by frequency dividing a clock signal by N. The resulting timing signal is phase shifted by M clock periods by inserting one cycle of 1/(N+M) frequency dividing in accordance with a synchronous command signal. With the timing signal, data of a channel is extracted from the time division multiplexed data of N channels by an extracting circuit, such as a D-type flip-flop. With a synchronous signal generated from the timing signal having the same pulse width of the multiplexed data, a low speed input data is inserted into a channel of the multiplexed data of N channels by a selector.

  • Patent number: 5757366
Abstract: A horizontal synchronizing signal Hs and a vertical synchronizing signal Vs are converted to digital data, respectively, by corresponding frequency-to-voltage conversion circuits 10 and 20 and AD conversion circuits 30 and 40. These digital data are compared with regulation values corresponding to the operation frequencies of a CRT display 2000 stored in the regulation value memory 90 by a frequency decision circuit 50 so that abnormality of frequency of the horizontal synchronizing signal and vertical synchronizing signal is decided. At an abnormal time, the state indication data corresponding to the abnormal state are read out from the state indication data memory 70. The display control circuit 60 constitutes a new video signal based on the state indication data and supplies the new signal to the CRT display in place of the video signal from the computer 1000 through the switch 80.

  • Patent number: 5747354
Abstract: The invention provides an n-channel MOS field effect transistor with an anti-radioactivity. The transistor includes leak guard boron diffusion layers, each of which has a junction surface to an isolation oxide film. The junction surface exists up to a deeper level than a predetermined depth corresponding to a junction surface of n-type source and drain diffusion layers and a p-type silicon substrate. Such leak guard boron diffusion layer is formed by ion-implantation of boron through a gate oxide film, after a formation of the gate oxide film. Such leak guard boron diffusion layers have a higher impurity concentration. The existence of the leak guard boron diffusion layers suppresses a leak to be generated by radiation damages of silicon oxide film such as the gate oxide film and the isolation oxide film.
