  • Patent number: 7925079
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for pattern recognition and processing. Information representative of physical characteristics or representations of physical characteristics is transformed into a Fourier series in Fourier space within an input context of the physical characteristics that is encoded in time as delays corresponding to modulation of the Fourier series at corresponding frequencies. Associations are formed between Fourier series by filtering the Fourier series and by using a spectral similarity between the filtered Fourier series to determine the association based on Poissonian probability. The associated Fourier series are added to form strings of Fourier series. Each string is ordered by filtering it with multiple selected filters to form multiple time order formatted subset Fourier series, and by establishing the order through associations with one or more initially ordered strings to form an ordered string.

  • Patent number: 7865305
Abstract: A navigation server and the like capable of making a navigation device 200 output a route having adequacy in view of various circumstances is provided. A navigation server 100 recognizes a navigation route r(k) for guiding the automobile 2 to the destination position p2 which is set according to the first algorithm by the navigation device 200. Further, a support route R(k) for guiding the automobile 2 from a current position (or a departure position) p1 to the destination position p2 which is set according to the first algorithm is recognized. Still further, a first index c1(k) representing an adequacy of the navigation route r(k) in view of the second algorithm is evaluated. On condition that the first index c1(k) satisfies a predetermined condition, the support route R(k) is output in place of the navigation route r(k) by the navigation device 200.

  • Patent number: 7865254
Abstract: A method of manipulating a block diagram model with a plurality of graphical modeling components by defining an open loop anywhere on the block diagram model is provided. Graphical modeling components in series with the open loop may be automatically recognized and a plurality of parameters of the graphical modeling components in series with the open loop may be displayed on a display device. A user may simultaneously tune the parameters of the graphical modeling components in series with the open loop. Factorization points breaking the block diagram model in two disconnected parts may be identified in the block diagram model. A virtual graphical model may be generated by replacing a pattern of the graphical modeling components between two factorization points with a single graphical modeling component representing the pattern.

  • Patent number: 7865350
Abstract: Methods and systems for partitioning objects in modeling environments are disclosed. The modeling environments enable users to partition an object (parent object) to include other objects (child objects). The parent object may reference the child objects (referenced objects). The child objects may be subsystems in the hierarchy of the parent object or modules (or units) in the partitioning of the parent object. The child objects may be encapsulated so that changes in the parent object do not affect the child objects. The partition of the parent object may allow users to load and compile the parent object incrementally. The partition of the parent object may also allow users to generate code for the parent object incrementally.

  • Patent number: 7846307
Abstract: The invention provides a high-pressure hydrogen production apparatus for preventing hydrogen gas from leaking toward an anode side and for obtaining excellent electrolytic efficiency. The apparatus includes a single cell having a solid polymer electrolyte membrane, power feeders, separators, and fluid channels provided in respective separators. High-pressure hydrogen gas accompanied by water is obtained in the fluid channel by supplying water to the fluid channel and applying current to each power feeder to electrolyze water. The obtained hydrogen gas and water are subjected to gas-liquid separation in a second compartment of a high-pressure vessel, and hydrogen gas thus separated is used to press a barrier member towards the single cell. The separated water is supplied to the fluid channel through the hydrogen gas guide channel.
