Abstract: There is disclosed a pulverizing assembly comprised of a pulverizing housing defining a pulverizing chamber having spaced-apart and vertically-disposed shafts rotatably disposed therein wherein flywheels are mounted on each shaft in spaced-apart relationship. Rod members are mounted between the flywheels and beater assembly is rotatably disposed on each of the rod members. Each beater assembly is formed of a tubular member having a channel of a diameter greater than the diameter of the corresponding rod member with an elongated and retangularly-shaped beater plate member mounted by arm members mounted to the tubular member wherein the beater plate member is parallelly-disposed and spaced-apart from the tubular member of each beater assembly.

Abstract: A stackable compact knife cutting assembly employing an elongated pneumatic piston/piston rod assembly wherein the elongated piston member is provided with an elongated preformed elastomeric piston ring member disposed in a groove portion thereof and wherein a cutting assembly includes a housing member and arm portions having a slot for receiving a shaft of the rotating knife member and a bearing surface for guiding and contacting bearing surfaces of the knife member to maintain the perpendicular plane thereof to the rotating axis of the cutting knife member.

Abstract: There is disclosed an automatic X-ray film processor assembly comprised of a gear drive assembly for the film transport unit including continuously operated lower and upper film lifters operating at different rotational speeds for passing film more rapidly through processing units. Additionally, there is provided an improved drying assembly including gear train in driving interrelationship with the gear drive assembly for the film transport as well as a fan unit providing improved aero-thermodynamics for drying film chips and additionally reducing film transit times. Additionally, there is provided a valved water drain system and a closeable door access means to more easily facilitate wash water draining and refilling for improved film processing.

Abstract: In a method and apparatus for decorating articles having at least a generally conical surface portion with a decoration on a stamping foil, the foil passes around a guide roller as it is fed towards the stamping roller for applying a decoration on the foil to the surface portion of the article. The guide roller is displaced by a drive means along an arcuate guide means into a position adapted to the respective rotary angular position of the article to be decorated. The drive means for driving the stamping roller is inoperable to drive same during the stamping operation so that the stamping roller is only driven by frictional engagement during the stamping operation.
