Abstract: A collimating mark device is provided with an infrared collimating mark intended to be observed through a sight. The infrared collimating mark is designed such that at least two V-shaped intensity distributions are positioned in a way that their respective apexes are facing one another. Despite a relatively blurred image after conversion into a visible collimating mark, the blurred visible collimating mark can be brought in a reproducible and reliable manner into coincidence with a fixed alignment mark.
Abstract: There are disclosed methods for making radiographs using slit-scanning radiographic techniques wherein a measuring exposure is effected at low radiation intensity and thereafter radiation intensity is set at a value suitable for effecting and taking the actual exposure and further including a modulation of radiation intensity during actual exposure.
Abstract: In a method for slit radiography a fan-shaped X-ray beam scans a body to form an X-ray shadow image. The fan-shaped beam is formed by a number of sectors situated next to each other. For each sector the transmitted X-ray radiation is controlled instantaneously during a scan by means of controllable beam sector modulators. The X-ray radiation is cyclically modulated in a predetermined manner for all the sectors taken together. The controllable beam sector modulators are individually controlled to select cyclically and in synchronism with the predetermined cyclic modulation a part of the X-ray radiation for each sector.

Abstract: An image pickup device comprises a matrix of rows and columns of image pickup elements. Image information is transferred in the column direction in the time-delay-and-integration mode. Each column comprises at least two regions containing image pickup elements, whereby spectrally different images can be picked up during a single scan.
Abstract: An image pickup device comprises a matrix of rows and columns of image pickup elements. Image information is transferred in the column direction in the time-delay-and-integration mode. Two shift registers are associated with each column of image pickup elements. During a first period information from the image pickup elements of each column is transferred to a first one of each two shift registers associated with each column and during a second period information is transferred to the second one of each two shift registers associated with each column.Such an image pickup device can be used in radiography as a means for detecting x-ray radiation transmitted by a body under examination. In order to obtain a dual energy image a first or a second spectral center point is periodically imparted to the x-ray radiation synchronously with the first and second periods.
