  • Patent number: 7634899
Abstract: A tool for the quick and easy installation and tensioning of track assemblies on skid steer loaders is arranged to properly and positively align and draw the free ends of the track together and hold the track ends in proper, aligned condition squared relative to each other for installation of the track link members and tensioning adjustment of the track as may be desired for proper operation of the vehicle. Additionally, this tool can be used to dismount the track by removing the pressure from the pivot bolts, allowing the operator to easily remove the bolts and then gently let the ends of the tracks apart.

  • Patent number: 7624883
Abstract: The present invention utilizes a hoist drum with a three different drum sections, two cylindrical and one tapered, upon which the different ends of a lifting cable simultaneously spool on and off of as a function of counterclockwise and clockwise cable spooling. This combination reduces the amount of shaft torque required to raise or lower a load while increasing the number of hoist drum rotations required to raise or lower that load. These two features are incorporated into the operation of a main crane cable length adjusting device since they offer precise and rapid adjustment capabilities to be made with smaller sized electric motors and clutches.

  • Patent number: 7621662
Abstract: The present invention is a system of emergency vehicle lighting that uses a low profile hood/trunk mounted LED plate unit and a door mounted LED strip unit. It is designed for both stand alone operation or for integration into an emergency vehicle's electronic alarm notification sequencing unit. The hood/trunk LED plate unit has a thin, enhanced geometrical configuration and an LED lens design that allows the light emitted from the superbright LEDs to be seen to a much higher degree to vehicles approaching from direction normal to the longitudinal centerline of the emergency vehicle. Mounting of the LED plate unit and LED strip unit can be permanent or temporary and because of the light weight, numerous chemical, magnetic and mechanical methods of affixation may be utilized.

  • Patent number: 7591074
Abstract: A medical laser vertical alignment system that has a precise locating strip affixed perpendicularly to a static pressure scale and that vertically and horizontally aligns the center of rotation of a reusable detachable laser aligning device with the zero reference point of the scale. The laser beam light is adjustable to coincide with the indicated horizontal position of a set of two bubble leveling vials. It has a quick release and alignment clamping arrangement that affixes the laser aligning device to the locating strip. The leveling device can be rotated 180 degrees and the leveling vials are located at opposing sides and ends of the device for clear visibility and redundancy. There is a timer circuit in the device that shuts the laser off after a predetermined time.

  • Patent number: 7547131
Abstract: The present invention is a low power and low heat dissipating, low illumination system that is based in an electrical box cover plate, preferably in a light switch cover plate. It allows for the maintenance of an electrical bleed current through the fluorescent light controlled by that light switch so as to keep a minimal thermal differential between the unlit and lit light. The light switch cover plate has a series of imbedded LEDs that illuminate an area all around the light switch. The unit is retrofittable on conventional light switches.

  • Patent number: 7540320
Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved air conditioning filter and cooling/heating coil that can easily be applied to new and existing air handling systems. The slant design of these components allows a more efficient heat transfer and particle entrapment than their conventional counterparts. By residing at an angle in their air handling enclosures, and by virtue of their oblique prismatic construction, more filter media can be used and more heat transfer surface area can be incorporated without offering any substantial additional impediments to the flow of air. At angles of 45 degrees air friction of the coil and filter are reduced by 40 to 55 percent.

  • Patent number: 7540123
Abstract: The present invention relates to improved base for a large, commercial rooftop air conditioning (A/C) unit. The base is assembled from a series of interconnectable, corrugated floor panels having smooth bottom planar surfaces that may directly be mounted atop existing rooftop A/C unit curbs. The panels are each constructed from metal or steel, concave formed linear members that reside coplanar and are separated by a foam core. There is a base to wall panel connecting rail that simplifies the attachment of the A/c unit's side walls.

  • Patent number: 7493729
Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved commercial rooftop enclosure that utilizes a roof and wall panel design incorporated with structurally bent rails connecting the panel assemblies to each other and to a corrugated panel steel base. This forms the enclosure into a torsion box style building wherein the strength of the enclosure is derived from its overall “unibody” style construction. With this design the rooftop enclosure offers a lower overall profile, reduced weight and increased structural strength over its conventional counterparts.

  • Patent number: 7489106
Abstract: The present invention relates to a microprocessor controlled battery management system that optimizes the total electrical capacity of that battery. It uses localized cell power sources that correct the capacity of the individual connected cells to achieve the maximum capacity of the battery as it acts in a synergistic series connection of cells. The microprocessor retrieves data of battery load current, cell voltage, cell temperature, and battery charger current in timed increments. Through the application of the microprocessor's algorithms, after an initial cell profiling of individual cell capacities has been performed, individual cell DC/DC converters are enabled to correct the condition of the individual cells. In this manner the battery capacity is not affected by the capacity of the weakest cell.

  • Patent number: 7422223
Abstract: This invention is a lumbar-friendly cargo carrier sled that can be used by humans to move cargo across rough or snow covered terrain and is adapted for use in conjunction with skis or wheels. The sled has an adjustable harness that articulates, by pivoting about three points in two planes. The sled frame itself flexes under dynamic loading conditions to absorb shock, and the harness is adjustable in length to transfer the majority of the load more directly onto the pelvic girdle region via a curved hip plate. The overall result is a lumbar—friendly pack sled that has the capability of maximizing the load that can be transported while minimizing the strain upon the human body.

  • Patent number: 7402543
Abstract: The present invention relates to a decorative refractory tile and it's method of use. This decorative tile utilizes a specially formulated clay body that undergoes dehydration and vitrification by firing in a specific manner with respect to temperature, time and rate of temperature increase. This thin, refractory tile has a high thermal conductivity, high structural strength able to maintain a minimal of cracking, distortion and spalling under rapid temperature changes and possesses a high resistance to erosion from ash-laden gases encountered in a conventional fireplace. This tile can be colored with heat resistant glazes, stains and oxides and sized or shaped within certain dimensional ranges, so as allow it to present patterns, designs or even pictures on the sides, floor and back of the firebox. When this tile is crafted by one with an artistic flair, and affixed to the walls, floor or sides of a firebox, aesthetically favorable fireplaces can be created.
