Abstract: The well voltage of a CMOS circuit having low-threshold-voltage MOSFETs is controlled when the power supply is turned on, during normal operation, and when the supply voltage is cut off. The CMOS circuit can thus operate stably with lower power consumption, because latching-up is reduced when the supply voltage is applied to the CMOS circuit or when the supply voltage is cut off, and subthreshold current is decreased during normal operation.
Abstract: There is proposed an engine controller which is excellent in reliability in that the outer peripheral edge face (cut surface) of covering member can be prevented from being rusted while securing the water-proofness and dust-proofness. This engine controller comprises a circuit board (12) for controlling an engine; an aluminum die-cast main case body (20) having an open top; and a covering member (30) made of an iron-based metal plate which is preliminarily applied with surface treatment, the covering member (30) being fixedly clamped to the main case body (20) by means of a setscrew (40) so as to hermetically close the open top of the main case body (20); wherein the main case body (20) is provided thereon with a pedestal (24) or groove (25) on which a liquid or jellied water-proofing adhesive (50) is coated or filled (piled), thereby enabling entire outer peripheral edge face (33a) of the covering member (30) to be covered by the water-proofing adhesive (50).
Abstract: In a picture transmission network including networks of different transmission speeds, when a picture is sent at a bit rate which is adjusted to the transmission speed of a low-speed network, only a low-quality picture of a low bit rate is obtained in a video reception unit connected to a network of a high transmission speed. When a picture is sent at a transmission rate of a network having high transmission speed, the picture cannot be reproduced at all in a video reception unit connected to a network of a low transmission speed. To solve the problem, a video transmission unit generates at least an I picture data and a plurality of P picture data. In accordance with a request from the network, the I picture data and a predetermined number of P picture data is transmitted to the network.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a mass spectrometry system capable of improving an efficiency of obtaining information on a structure of substances, shortening a time taken for a measurement and substance identification, and improving identification accuracy. The system comprises: a process of mass analyzing an ionized analyte; a first fragmentation process where a first ion is selected from the ions observed in a mass spectrometry to fragment it; a process of mass analyzing a plurality of the ions generated in the first fragmentation process; a process of determining fragment ion combination capable of reconstructing the first ion using a result of the mass spectrometry; a second fragmentation process where the fragment ions contained in the fragment ion combination are fragmented; and a process of mass analyzing the fragment ions generated in the second fragmentation.

Abstract: A submount for a light emitting diode and its manufacturing method, the submount including a reflector and having a compact size. The submount for the light emitting diode comprises a Si base substrate having input/output terminals formed on a front side thereof, and a Si reflector having a sloped through hole and a reflecting film formed at least on a slope defining the through hole. The Si reflector is mounted on the Si base substrate and is fixedly joined to the Si base substrate. The Si reflector and the Si base substrate are joined to each other by a thin film solder.

Processing for a database including a shared table which can be referred to by a plurality of database processing devices is managed. Table information indicating database processing devices allocated according to an attribute of a table in a database and a processing type is referred to via a storage. According to whether or not a processing request for the database includes processing for a shared table, a database processing device to execute the processing request is selected. The database processing request is issued to the selected database processing. According to the database processing request, the database processing device accesses the database.
Abstract: A session relay apparatus for preventing the packet relay delay by detecting the start and end of the policy settable peer-to-peer communication is disclosed. The session relay apparatus for relay a session control message transmitted and received between communication terminals to control the peer-to-peer communication detects the start and end of the communication from the session control message, and acquires the information for identifying a session and the information on the peer-to-peer communication carried out on the session. Upon generation of a policy indicating the packet relay control process by a policy generating unit, edge nodes for passing the packet are searched for and the policy is distributed to the edge nodes. The policy is set in the edge nodes accommodating the communication terminals at the start of communication, and the policy setting is canceled at the end of communication.
Abstract: A electric rotating machine includes a rotor winding constituting a part of a rotor, a conductor provided in a center portion in a radial direction of a rotor body for supplying electricity to the rotor winding from the outside, a leader drawn from the conductor to an outside diameter side, and a connecting line constructed by stacking a plurality of conductor plates to electrically connect the rotor winding and the leader. The connecting line consists of a radial direction linear portion which is straight in the radial direction on the leader side, and a bending portion which branches into two routes toward opposite directions to each other in a rotor shaft direction from the radial direction linear portion and has a linear portion formed at a part of the bending portion. The linear portion of the bending portion is joined to a bottom surface of the rotor winding.
Abstract: In a decentralized control system, a program of the system is described in one form to flexibly cope with changes of the system, and the program developing efficiency, processing performance, and reliability of the system are increased. In configuration, a plurality of control processors and a plurality of devices are connected to a network, the control processors connected to the network are automatically detected and there is determined program execution assignment to possibly equalize the processing load imposed on the control processors. Each control processor executes the program in accordance with the program execution assignment.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for simplifying an operation for the processing of a warping prediction of dividing an image into patches and deforming each patch by affine transform or bilinear transform. Motion vectors of a plurality of representative points in which a spatial interval has a special feature are obtained from at least one patch formed with a plurality of grid points. Information of the motion vectors are used for synthesis of a predicted image. The division for synthesizing a predicted image in the case of warping prediction is replaced with a shift operation, thereby simplifying the processing by a computer or exclusive hardware.

The electrode terminals include a plurality of electrode terminals which are aligned along the edges of the module substrate and power voltage supply terminals which are located inner than these electrode terminals. The electrode terminals aligned along the substrate edges are coated, at least in their portions close to the substrate edge, with a protection film having a thickness of several tens micrometers or less. Connection reinforcing terminals consist of a plurality of divided terminals which are independent of each other, and are ground terminals.
