Abstract: A pressing apparatus using a motor, in which a driving device for fast feed, which lowers a upper die to a position immediately before pressing, and a motor for pressing, which performs a pressing operation, are used to cause the driving device for fast feed and the motor for pressing to operate cooperatively, and only one position detector, which detects a present position of a slider, is provided for a set of the driving device for fast feed and the motor for pressing. A lock device is provided so as to lock the slider and the screw shaft while the motor for pressing is operating for pressing a work piece.
Abstract: A gas mask for normal pressure operation and overpressure operation allows changeover of the expiration valve (4) from normal pressure operation to overpressure operation is made possible in a simple manner. The pretension of the valve spring (7) of the expiration valve (4) is adjusted by an angle lever (10) pivotable about an axis of rotation (13).

Abstract: A distributor unit includes a reservoir (7) containing a liquid substance, an anilox cylinder (8) and a cliché cylinder (9) onto which is movably fitted a cliche jacket (18), the reservoir (7), the anilox cylinder (8) and the cliche cylinder (9) being movable from and to a cylinder (2) on which travels a web-shaped material (3) which has to receive the substance. The distributor unit has an operator side and a transmission side, the anilox cylinder (8) and the cliche cylinder (9) being held by corresponding supports on operator side (14, 15) and on transmission side (16, 17). A device (19) for locking the cliche cylinder in cantilever position when the corresponding cliche jacket (18) has to be substituted is associated to the support on transmission side (17) of the cliche cylinder (9). The support on operator side (15); of the cliche cylinder (9) includes a first and a second element (150, 151) automatically movable from and to the cliche cylinder (9).
Abstract: It is intended to prevent ink from leaking through the ink outlet of the ink rail while the printing press is at halt. To achieve this object, a motor control section 40 shown in FIG. 4 controls the rotation of a stepping motor 15 driving a plunger 13 and, every time the stepping motor 15 is stopped, the outer circumference 13c of the plunger 13 except a cut portion 13a blocks at least a discharge port 18, thereby enabling the pressure ink invading from an intake port 17 into the main hole 11 of a cylinder 12 to press the plunger 13 against the discharge port 18 opening into the inner circumferential face of the main hole 11.
Abstract: A tow behind mower attachment system is provided comprising a push mower having a mower deck with four wheels including a right front wheel having a right front axle, a left front wheel having a left front axle, a right rear wheel having a right rear axle and a left rear wheel having a left rear axle. The push mower has surface features defined by the mower deck, the four wheels, the right front axle and the left front axle, the right rear axle and the left rear axle. An attachment assembly is provided having a caster mount and a caster wheel connected to the caster mount for pivoting relative to the attachment assembly. A push mower connector is provided engaging one or more of the surface features for connecting the attachment assembly to the push mower.
Abstract: A method for controlling a plurality of manipulators, such as multiaxial or multiaxle industrial robots. At least one manipulator functions as the reference manipulator and is moved in a plurality of preset poses within its working area at which internal position values are determined as first desired poses. For each desired pose, subsequently a first actual pose of the reference manipulator is determined by an external measuring system. Subsequently at least one further manipulator moves up to specific poses of the reference manipulator as second desired poses and for each of these poses an actual pose of the further manipulator is determined by an external measuring system. On the basis of actual-desired deviations between the thus determined desired and actual poses of the two manipulators, subsequently a parameter model for the further manipulator is established and with it it is possible to compensate simultaneously both its own errors and those of the reference manipulator.

Abstract: A process is provided for measuring a gas concentration with at least one thermal measuring element. The thermal measuring element is operated by pulses. A measured value of the gas concentration in the environment of the measuring element is obtained from the evaluation of the response of the measuring element to at least one single pulse by determining transient states of the thermal measuring element. From this the measured value of the gas concentration in the environment of the measuring element can be derived, during the imposed pulse based on electric measured variables.
Abstract: A multistage turbocompressor, designed as a geared compressor with an integrated gear, contains a central greater wheel (9) that meshes with a plurality of pinions (14, 15), wherein each pinion (14, 15) is mounted, in a manner adapted to rotate in unison, on a pinion shaft (16, 17). A bladed wheel of a compressor stage (II, III, IV, V) is arranged on the ends of each of the pinion shafts. The greater wheel (9) meshes with a driving pinion (8), which is mounted, in a manner adapted to rotate in unison, on a driving shaft 6 connected to a drive unit (1). The axis of the driving pinion (8) is arranged, with the axis of the greater wheel (9), in the same horizontal plane (20), and the driving pinion (8) meshes with a pinion (10) of a first compressor stage (I) mounted, in a manner adapted to rotate in unison, on a pinion shaft (11).

Abstract: The measurement device includes a microwave sensor, a microwave analyzer which is essentially composed of a microwave signal generator and a microwave power meter, and a processing unit to which the analyzer is interfaced. The sensor 3 includes a resonator 9 and an open coaxial probe 11. The resonator 9 is produced by means of a length of microstrip line 13, terminating with the probe 11 and short-circuited at one end 13A. The microstrip is produced on a laminate of low-loss dielectric material 15. The collector plate forming the ground is indicated with 17. Operating on the microstrip 13 are two weakly coupled ports with coaxial output, indicated with 19 and 21 respectively.
Abstract: An anesthesia device has a device (4, 5) for the supply of at least one first anesthetic and a second anesthetic in a quantitatively settable, controlled manner. A data processing unit (6) with a corresponding display (8) is set up for determining the current concentrations in the plasma or at the site of action from continuously supplied data on the quantities of the anesthetics administered with a module (10) for a pharmacokinetic compartment model calculation and for storing these concentration values. Concentration data is predicted for at least one point in time in the future and this is also calculated. An action module (20) keeps ready the curve of at least one anesthesia action parameter as a function of the concentrations of the anesthetics in a stored manner.
Abstract: A load-sensing system is provided with at least one ball and socket joint and a ball and socket joint for load sensing is provided. The ball and socket joint of the load-sensing system has a joint housing, in which the joint ball of a ball pivot (1) can be received in a slidingly movable manner. The ball pivot (1) comprises a shaft area and a joint ball, a load-sensing means (3) being arranged in the shaft area of the ball pivot. The load-sensing system is characterized according to the present invention by an evaluating means, which is set up such that the signals of the load-sensing means (3) are output as a vector in a cartesian coordinate system. The load sensing makes it possible to reliably determine the operating or load state not only of individual components but rather of entire assembly units of a motor vehicle and with which the vehicle dynamics can be adjusted.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing highly pure, granular silicon with a narrow particle-size distribution by decomposing silanes or halosilanes in a fluidised bed and epitaxially growing silicon on silicon seed particles, which method is characterised in that the gas containing silicon is supplied to the reaction chamber in an upward flow and the contents of the fluidised bed are separated in a continuous or discontinuous manner, whereby a particle stream from the fluidised bed is supplied to a separator mounted outside the fluidised bed, particles of the desired size are separated and undersized particles are returned to the fluidised bed. The invention also relates to a device and the use thereof for carrying out said method.

Abstract: A molding method providing a homogeneous surface without any patch by dyeing or reforming a resin surface in a die concurrently to molding, in injection-, blow-, or compression molding, after thermoplastic resin is filled in a die cavity. After blow-molding, or after compression molding, mixture gas of carbon dioxide gas and a dye, or mixture gas of carbon dioxide gas and a reformer is injected between the resin and the die for forming a clearance, and pressure of the mixture gas is kept at a constant level. The mixture gas is dissolved in a molded surface, and a pressure is applied to contact the molded surface to the cavity face. The mixture gas in the clearance is exhausted and cooled, and the molded product is taken out. A dye-permeated layer or a reformer-permeated layer is formed on a surface of the molded product.
Abstract: A coin identifying sensor and a coin identifying apparatus has coin detecting sections (25X and 25Z) that are formed by relatively disposing a group of coin identifying sensors (21A, 21B, 21C and 21D) with each group provided with three aligned and integrated coin sensors. Each, of the sensors has a core wound with a coil. The sensors are disposed in a coin path in a direction crossing a movement direction of a coin. The first and second coin detecting sections are sequentially disposed on a coin path (4) to determine whether a coin is real or not using detection data of diameter, material and thickness of the coin based upon detection outputs sequentially obtained from the coin detecting sections.
Abstract: A double-spindle machine tool comprises two tool-holder spindles and two work holding fixtures allocated thereto. A work holding fixture comprises a work carrier plate which supports itself on an adjustable abutment. This abutment is adjusted by means of an adjusting device in dependence on changes in the distance of the axes of rotation of the tool-holder spindles.
