Abstract: A spice rack is provided for mini spice containers. The rack includes a spindle with a rotatable carriage having multiple rows of container compartments. Each compartment is adapted to hold a single spice container. In one embodiment the rows are offset with respect to one another, so that a person can easily grasp the top and bottom of a container for removal from the compartments, with the upper edges of each row of compartments supporting the containers in the next vertically adjacent row of compartments. In a second embodiment, the compartment is shorter than the container so that a person can grip the upper end of the container for removal from the compartment. The containers snap fit into the opening between the resilient side walls of the compartments.

Abstract: The ECOWAVE 1.2 is an infrared heater that can produce heat in a more efficient manner than other infrared heaters on the market today. We have utilized specific short wave infrared bulbs and specifically manufactured and oriented heat dissipation material, and housing, to capture the maximum amount of infrared waves emitted from the heat source thus providing an optimum ambient temperature rise for a minimal amount of electricity consumed. We have also designed a heater core, in two separate configurations, that can be used in a multitude of capacities depending on the size of the heating case desired, heat required and space available.

Abstract: A cleaning composition including a primarily C12 poly phosphate functionalized alkyl polyglucoside, a water conditioning agent, an acid source, a solvent, and water. In one embodiment, the cleaning composition is substantially free of alkyl phenol ethoxylates. The cleaning composition is capable of removing soils including up to 20% proteins. The cleaning compositions include a biorenewable, environmentally friendly alternative to nonyl phenol ethoxylates and exhibit superior cleaning of food soils.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling power to relatively high power devices by adding or subtracting capacitance. A plurality of capacitors are connected in parallel. The plurality of capacitors are in series with the device. Operating power to the device can be adjusted by adding or subtracting capacitors in the device circuit. The high powered contactors are controlled by a small power control input from an electronic timer. In one embodiment the electronic timer comprises a digital timer/controller which is programmable to automatically actuate designated contactors at different pre-programmed times sensed to by the timer/controller based on accumulated operating time of the high powered device. The combination allows an easily adjustable yet small sized and relatively inexpensive set of components for adjusting high powered devices.

Abstract: An apparatus such as a shuttle bin includes an upper frame, a lower frame hingeably connected to the upper frame, a storage body operatively connected to the upper frame for storing material and a roller assembly operatively connected to the upper frame. The roller assembly is adapted to draw the storage body taut to unload the material stored in the storage body as the upper frame hinges away from the lower frame. The storage body may be formed of a pliable material such as a mesh or canvas.

Abstract: A vehicle cover is provided for covering a driver side window, central windshield, and passenger side window. The cover includes a central windshield panel, a right wing panel, and a left wing panel. The right wing panel forms a pocket with three closed sides, and an open bottom edge for covering a driver side window and frame of a vehicle. The left wing panel is a pocket formed by three closed sides and an open bottom edge so as to enclose a passenger side window and frame of the vehicle. The vehicle cover prevents ice build up on the covered windshield and side windows so as to eliminate the need to scrape ice from the windshield and side windows. The cover also blocks harmful environmental conditions that may damage both the interior and exterior of a vehicle during all times of the year.

Abstract: The invention comprises a hard surface cleaning composition including an environmentally friendly, surfactant derived from renewable bio-based resources. The cleaning composition includes a mixture of alkyl polypentosides and alkyl polyglucosides having primarily between 8 and 11 carbon atoms as a surfactant, an acid source, an optional solvent, a water conditioning agent and water. The hard surface cleaner is preferably substantially free of alkyl phenol ethoxylates and is effective at removing food soils including 20% protein.

Abstract: A method and system for removal of in most instances 70% of mercury contamination from flue gas and in many instances 90-95%. It involves passing hot flue gas through a honeycomb filter brick comprising a ceramic honeycomb of MgAl2 Si2O8, preferably containing minor amounts of Iron, Platinum and Titanium.

Abstract: A barrier for a robotic work station is provided and includes a pair of upright posts, and rigid panels which are movable between a lower open position and a raised closed position. The panels are simultaneously moved between the raised and lower positions by a pneumatic cylinder and a pulley system. The movable panels are cantilevered from one of the posts, and include rollers for movement within a channel in the post. A fixed panel is provided at the bottom of the posts and extends approximately to the top of the work station table.

Abstract: A tarp deploying apparatus of the type that has radial arms pivotally attached at the front and rear of a trailer. A housing for supporting a tarp roll and a motor is pivotally attached at the free end of a radial arm such that the tarp roll and housing will tuck under a side lip at an upper portion of the side of the trailer. The rear radial arm is formed with a bend between the pivotal attachment point to the rear of the trailer and the free end of the radial arm, such that the free end of the radial arm is closer to the front of the trailer. A roller with enhanced traction characteristics helps to move the apparatus out of a storage position. A spring used to bias the radial arms can be adjusted to adjust the amount of biasing force.

Abstract: A golf hole painter is provided for painting an area of a golf hole above a top of a golf cup, but below the putting surface. The golf hole painter includes a base member, a liner, and a main body. The main body is rotatably attached to the base member. The main body also receives a spray canister containing paint, which is pressed and rotated along with the main body in relation to the base member to spray the entire interior periphery of a golf hole. The painted portion of the golf hole allows a golfer to more easily view a golf hole while putting on a golf green, due to the rules of golf requiring a golf cup to sit at least one inch below the putting surface.

Abstract: A method and device for transmitting information over a first medium include allocating for signal transmission, each of a plurality of frequency sub-bands of an ultra-wide band spectrum and sending over the first medium an ultra-wide band transmission including the information. The ultra-wide band transmission is performed by sending a signal over each of the plurality of frequency sub-bands. Each signal may be encoded, modulated and/or multiplexed. The information which is transmitted may be obtained from a second signal transmission received over a second medium.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for a wind turbine and blade assembly are disclosed. The wind turbine has a wind turbine assembly being rotatably driven by the blade assembly. The wind turbine assembly has a shaft connected to an inner wheel by a supporting structure. A magnet array is disposed circumferentially about the inner wheel. A transformer array is disposed circumferentially about an outer wheel. The shaft rotates the inner wheel with the magnet array within the outer wheel having the transformer array for producing electricity. Magnets within the array are angled relative to the inner wheel. Blades are held in a neutral position into the wind by tensioning means. Rotation of the blades out of the wind is resisted by the tensioning means to tune the blades to the wind velocity.

Abstract: A folding workbench includes a work surface pivotally mounted to a wall for movement between a raised, horizontal use position and a lowered, vertical storage position. The workbench includes a pair of legs which are pivotally mounted at opposite ends to the wall and to the work surface. Each leg includes a knee joint. The legs are straight when the work surface is up and bent when the work surface is down. A lock prevents the legs from accidentally folding when the work surface is in the raised, use position.

Abstract: The present invention provides an overhead support apparatus for assisting a user while performing rehabilitation physical activities and includes a track assembly supported by the ceiling and a suspension device that depends from the track assembly and is attached to the user so that the apparatus acts to prevent the user from falling down during physical activities. The suspension assembly includes a trolley adapted to traverse the track assembly, a locking snap assembly attached to the trolley and associated with a swivel, and an adjustable lanyard that is connected to the swivel at one end and to a body harness at its opposite end, which body harness has straps for encircling the torso and legs of a user.

Abstract: The reversible mortise lock of the present invention can be installed on either the left or right side edges of a door opposite the door hinges. The lock includes a housing with a live bolt pivotally and slidably mounted in the housing. The live bolt slides between an extended position beyond the housing and a fully retracted position within the housing. When fully retracted, the live bolt can be rotated 180° so that the beveled face of the live bolt can be reversed. A finger pivotally mounted within the housing blocks full retraction of the live bolt when the mortise lock is installed in the door.

Abstract: A warewashing detergent composition is provided for use for in cleaning of alkaline sensitive metals such as aluminum or aluminum containing alloys. The compositions include alternatives to sodium tripolyphosphate and/or other phosphorous containing raw materials, while retaining cleaning performance and corrosion prevention. According to the invention, a synergistic combination of polyacrylic and polymaleic polymers are used as corrosion inhibitors in traditional alkaline detergent compositions.

Abstract: A collapsible and foldable composite chair with back slats and seat slats held together by a fabric material. A fold line hinge into the fabric material which normally wears out over time is reinforced to prevent such early wear outs with a cell foam material, preferably a closed cell polyolefin strip. As a result the slats do not wear though the slat pockets in the material and the fold line hinge endures.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a sign carrier apparatus specifically designed to be inserted into a vehicle hitch assembly to transport signs. Alternatively, the present invention provides for a free standinged receiver hitch, or free standing receiver hitch for storing the sign carrier apparatus when not in use.
