Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for producing variants of a parent TY145 subtilase and of a parent BPN? subtilase and to TY145 and BPN? variants having altered properties as compared to the parent TY145/BPN? subtilase.
Abstract: The present invention relates to enzymes produced by mutating the genes for a number of subtilases and expressing the mutated genes in suitable hosts are presented. The enzymes exhibit improved wash performance in any detergent in comparison to their wild type parent enzymes.

Abstract: The invention relates processes for producing enzyme containing granules having an enzyme containing core and a shell coating the core wherein the preparation of the core and application of the shell are independent and are physically separated by time and/or location.
Abstract: A method for killing or inactivating spores, by contacting the spores with a haloperoxidase, a source of hydrogen peroxide and a source of iodide ions. The spores may additionally be contacted with a haloperoxidase enhancing agent.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an isolated lipoxygenase which is: a) a polypeptide encoded by the DNA sequence cloned into plasmid pUC19 present in Escherichia coli deposited as DSM 14139; b) a polypeptide having an amino acid sequence of the mature peptide shown in SEQ ID NO: 1; c) a polypeptide which has at least 80% homology with the polypeptide of a) or b); or d) a polypeptide encoded by DNA that hybridizes under high stringency conditions to a complementary strand of: i) the DNA sequence cloned into plasmid pUC19 present in Escherichia coli deposited as DSM 14139; or ii) the DNA sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 encoding the mature polypeptide.
