Abstract: Food composition containing 20-100 wt. % of an aqueous phase characterized by an enhanced content of tyrosol and hydroxytyrosol in aqueous phase being at least 15 ppm. The aqueous phase preferably results from exposing olive oil that contains polyphenols under hydrolytic conditions to an aqueous phase, so that lipophilic phenolic compounds will hydrolise and will migrate as hydrophilic polyphenols to the aqueous phase. The invention is suited for enhancing the nutritional value particularly of spreads, processed tomato products and dressings.

Abstract: A method for permanently dyeing hair which comprises subjecting said hair to a number of treatments, having a set time interval between each two consecutive such treatments, wherein each treatment comprises steps a.) and b.) below: a.) contacting said hair, for a period of about 5 seconds to about 5 minutes with a recently made mixture of: part ai: dye intermediates in water with a gelling agent at alkaline pH part aii an oxidizing compound such as hydrogen peroxide in water at acidic pH; b.) rinsing said mixture from said hair with water; and wherein said number of treatments is between about 2 to about 30; and wherein said set time interval between each two consecutive treatments is between about 8 hours and 30 days.

Abstract: A packaged cosmetic product is provided which includes multiple effervescent sachets placed within a tub with an open dispensing mouth. A carbon dioxide breathable and moisture barrier foil is arranged sealingly to close the dispensing mouth. Any carbon dioxide generated during storage, usually as a result of moisture prematurely effervescing powder within the sachets, is allowed to slowly diffuse into the atmosphere through the window formed by the special foil. The tub is formed of walls which do not have any substantial carbon dioxide breathability but do prevent inward moisture penetration.

Abstract: A substantially dry composition, especially for personal care products is provided which includes a colorant activatable in water to release a visual color, and an oil-soluble carrier. The colorant is insoluble in the carrier and the visual color is not imparted to the composition in its substantially dry state. Addition of water to the composition activates a color change which renders the visual color perceivable by a consumer. Color changes can be associated as a signal of performance by a consumer.

Abstract: The invention concerns a food composition, suitable for shallow frying, comprising triglycerides, wherein least 60 wt. % of triglycerides is of vegetable origin, and 0.05-3 wt. % sunflower lecithin. The invention further concerns a process for the preparation of hydrolyzed sunflower lecithin.

Abstract: A disposable substantially damp cleansing article is disclosed having a cleansing composition impregnated onto a flexible substrate such as a non-woven cloth. The impregnated compositions include lathering surfactants and water, the compositions having a viscosity ranging from about 50 to about 300,000 centipoise. Amounts of water range from greater than 15% to no higher than about 40% by weight of the total article. Speed of lather formation and foam volume increases within the window of the stated viscosity and water range.

Optionally, a silicone compound may be included. The monoalkyl quat may be in a ratio to the dialkyl quat of about 15:1 to about 2:1. The carbon chain lengths within the dialkyl quat are present in a weight ratio of about 1:3 to about 3:1 of C16, C16 dialkyl quat to C18, C18 dialkyl quat.

Abstract: This invention relates to an aqueous conditioner composition comprising (i) a cationic surfactant, (ii) a fatty alcohol material, and (iii) from 0.01 to 10 wt % coated particles comprising (a) a solid core having a D3,2 average particle size in the range from 10 to 700 nm, and (b) a coating of silicone polymer covalently bonded to the solid core. Use of the coated particles in a conditioner composition to impart body to the hair is also disclosed.
