Abstract: A cleaning apparatus using a web sheet includes: a send-out roller that is wound with the web sheet; a take-up roller that is connected to an end of the web sheet; and a rotation-regulating and canceling portion that regulates rotation of the send-out roller and cancels the regulation according to tension of the web sheet between the send-out roller and the take-up roller; wherein the web sheet is sent out from the send-out roller and taken up by the take-up roller, the web sheet is brought into contact with another roller during the sending out and taking up operation, and extraneous matters that have adhered to the other roller are removed.
Abstract: Gas of a predetermined pressure, which is equal to or higher than the atmospheric pressure, is filled in a damper chamber of a damper member that includes first and second-side diaphragms. A first-side limiting portion of a first-side cover member and a second-side limiting portion of a second-side cover member are engageable with a first-side concave portion of the first-side diaphragm and a second-side concave portion of the second-side diaphragm, respectively, to limit bulging of the damper member when a pressure of a fluid chamber is equal to or less than the predetermined pressure.

Abstract: A memory array comprises a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns, each row comprising at least one addressable word. The memory array comprises at least one redundant row and at least one redundant column. Error detection circuitry analyzes the memory array by addressing words and detecting errors within the addressed words. Error repair circuitry selects for a detected error either a redundant row or a redundant column to replace one of the row or column containing the error. It is determined for the detected error whether the error is a single error bit in the addressed word or whether it is one of a plurality of error bits within the word. If the error is the latter, then the error repair circuitry preferentially selects a redundant row rather than a redundant column to repair the error.

Therefore, an apparatus for producing a nanobubble-containing liquid with use of general-purpose products can be manufactured at low cost and in a short period of time.

Abstract: A test system for testing a pair of telecommunications access networks, e.g. as part of transfer engineering. Abstract: In certain example embodiments, a coated article includes a Zn-doped zirconium based layer before heat treatment (HT). The coated article is heat treated sufficiently to cause the Zn-doped zirconium based layer to transform into a Zn-doped zirconium oxide based layer that is scratch resistant and/or chemically durable. The doping of the layer with Zn has been found to improve scratch resistance and/or corrosion resistance.

Abstract: An example game system includes a home-console type game device, a controller device, and a portable display device. The portable display device includes an infrared emitter capable of emitting infrared light. The controller device wirelessly transmits to the game device operation image data from an image-capturing section, inertia sensor data, and operation button data. The game device receives the operation data from the controller device, and performs game processes based on the operation data. Moreover, the game device compresses first game images, which are generated based on the game processes, to generate compressed image data. The compressed image data is wirelessly transmitted to the portable display device. The portable display device receives the compressed image data from the game device, expands the compressed image data to obtain the game images, and displays the game images.
Abstract: A low-index silica coating may be made by forming silica sol comprising a silane and/or a colloidal silica. The silica precursor may be deposited on a substrate (e.g., glass substrate) to form a coating layer. The coating layer may then be cured and/or fired using temperature(s) of from about 550 to 700° C. A capping layer composition comprising an antifog composition including a siloxane and/or hydrofluororether may be formed, deposited on the coating layer, then cured and/or fired to form a capping layer The capping layer improves the durability of the coating. The low-index silica based coating may be used as an antireflective (AR) film on a front glass substrate of a photovoltaic device (e.g., solar cell) or any other suitable application in certain example instances.
