Abstract: The invention relates to a device for treatment with magnetic fields, which provides an easily transportable and storable device for the treatment with magnetic fields, which is also convenient for patients and in particular is economical to produce. The device comprises: a first device for generation of a first magnetic field, a second device for generation of a second magnetic field and a support with an upper side and a lower side, whereby the support is embodied for applying the treated body regions of the patient thereto.
Abstract: There is provided an inductive coupler. The inductive coupler includes (a) a housing having an aperture that extends lengthwise through the housing, a gap that extends lengthwise along a side of the housing, and a flexible region that enables the gap to be opened or closed, wherein the gap, when opened, permits the inductive coupler to be installed on a conductor by having the conductor routed through the aperture. The inductive coupler also includes (b) a magnetic core; and (c) a winding wound around a portion of the magnetic core. The magnetic core and the winding are secured to the housing such that a position of the magnetic core and a position of the winding are maintained relative to one another. The inductive coupler, when installed on the conductor, couples a signal between the conductor and the winding via the magnetic core.

Abstract: An eyeglass temple includes a temple body, an insert, and a fixing component. Abstract: A dust-collecting unit for a vacuum cleaner is provided which detachably connected with a cleaner body of the vacuum cleaner. The centrifuge apparatus is operable at certain predetermined parameters depending upon a product to be separated and is useable with a plurality of rotor assemblies. For example, a first rotor assembly of said plurality of rotor assemblies includes a first core having a first core configuration which is contained within a rotor housing of the first rotor assembly to define a first volume capacity such that the product passing through the first rotor assembly having the first volume capacity during rotation of the first rotor assembly in the centrifuge apparatus achieves a first particle separation of the product.

Abstract: In a satellite radio navigation receiver receiving a transmitted radio navigation signal, a method of removing I/Q-mismatches in the received signal, comprising: resolving the received signal into I and Q signal component, and providing them as inputs to a demixing stage which removes unwanted signals, the demixing stage including first and second cross-coupled adaptive filters, whose coefficients are updated by the outputs of the demixing stage, the outputs of the demixing stage representing an IQ mismatch corrected signal. The coefficients are updated only by the polarity values of the outputs, resulting in great simplification. The receiver may be a zero-IF or low-IF receiver, and may operate on time domain or frequency domain signals.

Abstract: A brassiere has two cups of fabric connected to each other and two side bands, which extend from the cups and are suitable for connecting to each other. Reinforcing portion has at least one layer of chemical material suitable for being applied along at least an edge portion of the cups and for forming an integral part of the fabric. The material has a polyurethane mix or a silicone mix. The layer is applied at least along a side portion of the edge of each cup which faces towards the respective band and extends with no break in continuity at least as far as the point of connection to a shoulder strap, wrapping around the respective cup at the side. Moreover, the layer is applied at least along a lower portion of the edge of each cup, wrapping around the respective cup at the bottom and at the side.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for flat edge-to-edge assembly of two portions of textile parts by means of a gluing ribbon overlapping the two edges. According to this process, before the gluing ribbon is put into place, two borders adjacent to the edges are glued onto each other, so as to hold the edges close to each other. The two glued borders are shorn close to where the two edges are fixed together, and the gluing ribbon (28) is applied overlapping the two edges that are brought together. The shorn glued borders, are flattened when applying the gluing ribbon.

Abstract: A flat display panel comprising exhaust holes in a display region is provided. In the flat display panel, a front substrate comprising X and Y electrodes a rear substrate comprising an address electrode are sealed at a predetermined interval in parallel. Vacuum exhaust and gas discharge are performed on a space between the sealed substrates through the exhaust holes in the display area, thereby reducing a non-radiation area of the panel to less than 1 mm. As a result, the flat display panel is effective in formation of an indefinite extension multi-PDP because a seam between the panels is removed when a multi-PDP comprising a plurality of panels is formed.
