Abstract: There is provided an aqueous low-foaming cleaning composition comprising peroxygen compound and a surfactant system, wherein the composition has a MR foam value of about less than 16. The composition is stable and suitable for use in a steam cleaning machine. There is also provided a method for predicting foam generation in steam cleaning compositions comprising the steps of mixing the composition.

Abstract: Ammonia-free, HF-free cleaning compositions for cleaning photoresist and plasma ash residues from microelectronic substrates, and particularly to such cleaning compositions useful with and having improved compatibility with microelectronic substrates characterized by sensitive porous and low-? to high-? dielectrics and copper metallization. The cleaning composition contain one or more non-ammonium producing, non-HF producing fluoride salt (non ammonium, quaternary ammonium fluoride salt) in a suitable solvent matrix.
Abstract: The ground anchors of the type which are attached to cables, rods and the like, which are driven into the ground and tilted transversely of the hole by tensioning the cable are provided. A ground anchor including a central hollow tubular body portion extending substantially along the length of the anchor and a pair of laterally projecting wings extending from opposing sides of the body portion, wherein the wings are bent at an angle to the horizontal plane, and a portion of an edge of each wing is bent at an angle to the plane of the wing.
Abstract: The invention relates to a key-changeable lock including a lock housing and a lock cylinder provided within the lock housing. The lock cylinder includes a shell for the lock cylinder, a locking hole into which a key can be inserted and a locking block mounted on the shell. A sliding block and a toothed piece are provided in the shell. The locking block is abutted against the sliding block. Several toothed slides are slidably provided within the sliding block. The locking block can be located at two working positions. At a first working position, the locking block is not held in the block groove and the teeth of the toothed piece engage with those of the toothed slide. At a second working position, the locking block is held in the block groove and the teeth of the toothed piece disengage from those of the toothed slide.
Abstract: A process for the stabilization and disinfection of sludge wherein a) raw sludge having a dry matter content of from 3 to 7% by weight is fed continuously or quasi-continuously into a first stage, where it remains for an average retention time of three to ten days under aerobic-thermophilic conditions to obtain a partially stabilized sludge; and b) the partially stabilized sludge is fed into a second stage in which disinfection of the partially stabilized sludge is effected at temperatures of at least 50° C., wherein prior to discharging, there is no charging until the partially stabilized sludge has been disinfected.
Abstract: An actuating device for actuators, such as switching, throttle or swirl flaps, in internal combustion engines for motor vehicles comprises a shaft connected with an actuating motor. The shaft is connected with an actuator, such as a switching flap or the like. In a predetermined position relative to the shaft two pin-type magnets are arranged and preferably connected with a partly toothed gearwheel. When the shaft is rotated, the pin-type magnets move relative to a preferably fixed magnetic field sensor. The magnetic field sensor is a linear Hall sensor. Provision of a linear Hall sensor allows three different shaft positions to be determined. The positions are the two shaft positions defined by the pin-type magnets in which the magnets are arranged opposite the Hall sensor, and a position in which the location of the pin-type magnets does not allow the Hall sensor to detect a magnetic field. In the latter position the linear Hall sensor has a defined bridge voltage.
Abstract: An aerosol valve actuator with a top portion rotatable on a bottom portion. The entire top portion in one rotatable position is depressible vertically to actuate the valve. A click post and clicking rib provide a single click in each direction of rotation. Flanges on top and bottom portions interact to stop rotation as soon as each click occurs. Plastic springs interact with spring biasing members only when the top portion is in actuating position, and assure return of the actuator top portion to full upward position for rotation after actuation of even a short-stemmed valve. Downwardly extending flexible connecting flanges connect the actuator top and bottom portions. The top portion has a lower periphery with a plurality of upwardly extending indentations to overlie lateral ribs in the lower portion in actuation position. The top and bottom portions have interfitting cylinders to stabilize the top portion and maintain verticality.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of identification and quantification of proteins, isoforms of angiotensin I converting enzymes (ACE), 190-kDa, specially of 90kDa in tissues, cells and biological fluids, specially in urine, genetic marker and prognostic agent of hypertension and primary or secondary renal lesion and kit for using in the diagnosis, risk stratification and therapeutical decision in arterial hypertension. One the aims of the present invention is to check the potential of the 90 kDa isoform as a hypertension genetic marker isoform and as a prognostic for hypertension.

Abstract: A capacitive sensor includes an upper electrode layer having a plurality of electrodes disposed in line with each other, a lower electrode layer having a plurality of electrodes disposed in line with each other, an insulating layer disposed between the upper electrode layer and the lower electrode layer, and a layer of bumps made of insulating material formed above the area where the electrodes of the upper electrode layer and the electrodes of the lower electrode later are crossed. The sensor detects the proximity of approaching objects by the capacitance change between the electrodes disposed in the upper electrode layer, and detects the contact of any objects by the capacitance change between the electrodes of the upper electrode layer and the electrodes of the lower electrode layer.

Abstract: This software invention requires that information be saved with each object that is placed in a source control system. This information includes the name, type, status, version number, and references to parent objects. When the object is checked-out, this information is used to determine the legality of checking-out any dependent objects. A method is used to generate the information that is saved and another method is used to determine which objects need to be checked-out. The dependent objects that need to be checked-out are then automatically checked-out.
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for wastewater treatment using a nitrogen/phosphorus removal process combined with a floatation separation of sludge that is replaced by the gravity settling secondary clarifier are provided for effectively removing organic substances, nitrogen, phosphorus, granular substances and the like from wastewater. Al or Fe electrode plate is used for generating the micro bubbles so that phosphorus is removed by Al or Fe ions dissolved from the anode.

Abstract: An electrically commutated motor comprises a plurality of stator phases and a rotor. Further, sensors for detecting the control deviation of the rotor in relation to the stator phases are provided. A phase control unit controls the stator phase rotary field depending on the detected control deviation. The phase control unit comprises a single-phase controller for a single-phase mode of operation, and a multiple-phase controller for a multiple-phase mode of operation. Further, a control deviation evaluation element is provided which evaluates the magnitude of the control deviation, and selects, depending on the evaluation result, the single-phase mode of operation or the multiple-phase mode of operation.

Abstract: A process for fixing several textile thicknesses along a line, and particularly an edge of a textile article, of the type by which two stitched sewing threads are used, namely the lower and the upper is provided. One of the threads changes state at a first predetermined temperature. A glue for thermogluing the thicknesses is provided. The glue acts at a second predetermined temperature. The state changing thread melts at a first temperature that is lower than the second temperature. The other thread is eliminated after the state changing thread has melted. This results in a perfectly placed seamless assembly.
Abstract: The invention relates to a percussive tool having an oscillatory drive (3), the force of which is transmitted to a tool bit holder (25) by way of a drive member (17). Extending through the percussive tool is a longitudinal opening that allows a rod-shaped object, such as, for example, a guide wire, to be guided through the percussive tool. The tool bit holder (25) has a seat (34), which can receive the tool bit in different orientations. Moreover, the tool bit holder (25) is made of a combination of light metal and steel, which allows a reduction in acceleration forces and noise generation. A saddle-shaped coupling (24) is provided between the tool bit holder (25) and the drive member (17), which guarantees a tight fit.
Abstract: Devices and a method for releasing gas in a container after closing and sealing to pressurize and/or prevent or counteract buckling thereof, and or provide structural rigidity and strength thereto and or release components. The method introduces a reactive agent into the container after filling and before sealing. The reactive agent is controlled to react to provide a gas and optionally components, which a) provides a positive pressure to prevent or counteract buckling and provide structural rigidity to the container, and b) and or changes the state or characteristics of the headspace and or contents of the closed container. The devices include a closure, a cap and a container. The reactive agent is brought to chemical reaction by moistening, heating, catalyst and the like. The closure includes the reactive agent and is disposed in the container. The external trigger is a device that emits energy that provides heat to the reactive agent to stimulate the chemical reaction.
