Abstract: A user-defined development life cycle component is part of a qualification and version control system that is an integral part of a configuration toolset in a process automation system. The user enables and defines a development life cycle to be used by defining qualification states and their attributes, including the authorized state transitions and security and requirements for each transition, such as electronic signatures. Attributes define how each control object is treated in the system. For example, a “load to controller” flag defines if the control object is loadable to a controller when it is in a particular qualification state. A fallback state defines a qualification state in which the control object continues its life cycle when it is modified and checked-back-into the system. Through a restricted state definition, the user implements the “four-eye principle” so that two consecutive state changes are made by two different users.

Abstract: Disclosed are system and method for controlling a network traffic. According to the invention, all switches connected with the same VLAN are allowed to share an inherent ID of each switch, a port ID connecting the switches and information about a bandwidth so as to calculate an optimized path that each switch is connected to other switches. For doing so, each switch is systematically structured to comprise a computation module capable of structuring a neighbor relation with other switches, a computation module capable of exchanging/sharing the switch state D/B with the other switches, and synchronizing a corresponding switch state D/B, a computation module capable of creating/updating a switching table, and a computation module capable of switching and flooding a received data frame through an optimized path with reference to the created/updated switching table.

Abstract: An aerosol valve actuator with a valve stem engaging portion, product dispensing opening, and flexible and expandable product conduit between the engaging portion and dispensing opening. The product conduit is molded at least in part of a first expandable flexible plastic material softer than a second plastic material of the remainder of the actuator. The remainder of the actuator is first molded, followed by molding the first plastic material to form at least a part of the product conduit. After the actuator has been actuated to dispense a foaming product and actuation ceases, the post-foaming product expands within the product conduit since the conduit expands to absorb the product expansion. Actuator cap and base product dispensing side openings align only during valve actuation. Base inwardly flexible members and cap internal ramps bias the cap upwardly when actuation ceases. Base upper portion telescopes in base lower portion during actuation.

Abstract: A cyclone dust separator for a vacuum cleaner, where a couple of cyclones are disposed parallel with each other and sequentially operated to separate and collect dust. The cyclone dust separator includes a bypass path guiding dust-laden air drawn in through a suction opening directly to a motor and having a first mesh that filters off dust included in drawn-in air; a first cyclone disposed at one side of the bypass path to separate the dust from the dust-laden air drawn in through the suction opening and discharge cleaned air to the motor; and a second cyclone disposed parallel with the first cyclone to separate the dust from the dust-laden air drawn in through the suction opening and discharge cleaned air to the motor. The dust included in the air is separated sequentially by the first mesh, the first cyclone and the second cyclone.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart pipette for bio-cell manipulation which can freely change orientation of a bio-cell subject to the manipulation by using mechanical friction and applying instantaneous impact when penetrating the subject bio-cell while receiving real-time feedback of force/torque information of the bio-cell. Further, the present invention relates to a bio-cell manipulation method and system using a smart pipette, through which a bio-cell may be manipulated upon the application of the force/torque information generated during the cell manipulation to the smart pipette control. According to the present invention, injection position can be recognized precisely and conveniently regardless of the proficiency of the manipulating person. Thus, the bio-cell manipulation may be automated. Further, the smart pipette quantifies force/torque information feed-backed through the sensor unit and compares it with data acquired in advance through experiments on the same bio-cell.

Abstract: An OPC redirection manager maintains the information necessary for taking appropriate action when the target OPC server fails and for ensuring that no bad status is returned to the client. Any existing OPC client needing seamless failover between target OPC data access and/or alarm and event servers will connect to a uniquely configured instance of the redirection manager instead of connecting to the primary server. The client application continues to perform OPC related tasks as usual. Because each client connection is unique, the redirection manager itself is not a single point of failure. Each configured redirection manager instance monitors the health of the target server mode and the target server itself by subscribing to failure events.
