Abstract: In the backflush filter (10) according to the invention, in which the flushing back of the filter inserts (15) which are received in several filter chambers takes place by means of flushing filtrate loaded by compressed air, the flush valve (35) and the mud drain valve (39) are actuated by a common drive, whereas the valves or the valve bores (45, 46) are dimensioned in such a manner that the flush valve only releases the connection to the filtrate chamber (19?) of the filter inserts (15?) to be flushed back, when the mud drain valve has already at least partially released the connection between the mud chamber (24?) of the affected filter chamber (14?) with a mud outlet (40). By this, it is ensured in a particularly simple manner that at the backflush process the pressure level in the mud chamber has already dropped before the filtrate for the backflush is loaded with compressed air (see FIG. 2).
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for skinning and de-rinding a product to be treated such as pieces of meat or fish and similar products (2), said product to be treated being first skinned from one side by means of a first skinning unit (3). A combination of a first conveyer belt (12) and a reversing belt (13) reverses the piece of meat. Abstract: In an auto tensioner, a high pressure oil chamber sectioned by a leading end portion of a cylinder and a plunger is provided within the cylinder. A gas chamber and an oil reservoir chamber are sectioned in a sealed manner in an outer periphery of the cylinder and the plunger. A first oil passage communicating the gas chamber with the high pressure oil chamber is provided within the plunger. A second oil passage communicating the high pressure oil chamber with the oil reservoir chamber is provided in the cylinder. The first oil passage is provided with a pressure side damping force generating means, (an orifice hole) and a first check valve closing during expansion. A second check valve closing during compression is provided in the second oil passage, and a locking means (an electromagnetic valve) closing the first check valve is provided.
Abstract: In a bottom valve apparatus in which a flow passage is formed in a bottom piece, a check valve opening and closing the flow passage is provided in one face side of the bottom piece, and a coil spring urging the check valve is fastened by a bolt and a nut which are provided in the bottom piece, a thread direction of the nut or the bolt fastening the coil spring is set to an opposite direction to a winding direction of the coil spring.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement (1) to support the front end (2A) of a trailer (2) when the aforementioned trailer is parked on board vessels (3) and other vehicles, comprising connecting means (4, 5) for the detachable attachment of the support (1) respectively to a 10 trailer of the kind in question and to a mobile loading vehicle (6). The support in this case is in the form of a stand (1) with support legs (7, 8) situated at a mutual distance (A) from one another and with a crossbar (9) extending between them. Tensioning devices (12, 13), such as straps, lines, ropes or chains, are capable of being accumulated internally inside the support stand (1). These are so arranged as to be capable of detachable attachment to the deck (10) of the vessel and of being tensioned. The legs (7, 8) of the support stand exhibit friction-increasing means (51) to increase the friction with the deck (10) of a vessel.
Abstract: A boot for a universal joint is constructed by a boot body and a boot adapter. The one end of the boot is fitted on a propeller inner shaft via its one-end fitting portion and the other end of the boot is fitted on the outer race of the universal joint via its other-end fitting portion, thereby substantially covering the universal joint. The foregoing one-end fitting portion has an annular lip portion at its end portion. Passages for flowing air between the inside of the boot and the outside of the boot are formed on the one-end fitting portion and the annular lip portion. The passages are closed by the annular lip portion being expanded in diameter outward by a centrifugal force caused by the high rotation of the propeller inner shaft, thereby preventing splashed water or muddy water from intruding into the boot when air is sucked into the boot.

Abstract: A RFID device with a surface treatment which interferes with the transmission of RF signals/data between the RFID device and the RF interrogator or reader. A surface treatment of either RF reflective or RF absorptive ink is deposited on a RFID device using an attenuation pattern to fine tune the read range of the RFID device thereby eliminating or reducing the occurrence of accidental or cross reads between nearby RF interrogators or readers. The surface layer may be deposited at the time of printing the labels thereby fixing the attenuation at a known level or the surface treatment may be applied in an on-demand fashion allowing the attenuation level to be varied to an individual requirement.
